We now have the tiebreaker over the Magic (which is HUGE for us).

Great win but we really, really have to take better care of the ball. KISS rule.

Start Lee.

Holfresh your a total idiot. He still has better numbers than fyre. All I am saying is tomorrow night they will have problems both of them. I need to quit talking to idiotic ass because unlike I have coached pro players and probably have the top sophomore in college basketball. You coach maybe a 7th grade CYC team. BTW Lee is having a pretty good quarter. I am not very smart but after your reading your posts my IW drops. Lee will have a double-double and yes he is sick

He may have a triple double b4 the night is out...

it'd be nice if Frye could get a single double.
Like his season average?

The Turnovers and offensive rebounds killed the Knicks tonight. They are better than the Magic but commit ore mistakes which is why Orlando has a better record.

Good win but old habits die hard!

WELL THAT'S ONE!!! Despite the sloppy nature of the game, the team won and that's what's most important. FREAK the style points. Just win baby! I think it's a team that isn't smooth, so you can't expect perfect execution all the time from this team. We have mistake prone players. The thing is that we looked better than the Magic all night and if we didn't make so many unforced TO's we'd have won convincingly. This is a team that's ahead of us and still some of you aren't fully recognizing that this team is gaining confidence with each win.

I was watching the NBA TV show and they were talking about a few of the weaker teams being tougher to beat now cuz they're back at full strength. Atl, Mil and Bos in particular. This does change things a bit. Those teams will be looking to spoil things for the teams they play, so the Knicks have to take all of them seriously.

Let's hope they die easy the next 28. :)

Great win tonight for the Knicks, the game was sloppy as hell, which made it kind of hard to watch but hey, we'll take it anyway it comes.

Either way, if this team is serious about contending for the playoffs, these are the kinds of games you gotta win and the Knicks took one of them. 8 more to go in this stretch.

Edit: you know things are looking decent when Lee gets 14pts/16rebs while also playing his worst game of the season.

Nice win..

Despite the numbers curry still outplayed howard, scored on him and darko at the same time, at will. Howard seems to get a lot of his points, david lee style, which is not a bad thing, but definately not the same way curry has, therefore the effect is just no the same..

Jamal had a efficient game, good for him, shot well and played smart.

Frye played a good game, still needs to get stronger around the hoop.

Lee was a beast, just a beast, seemed to do everything tonight.

Marbs played a good floor game, and Q held us together early..,

Francis made a few nice plays, but other than that, he is a trainwreck!!!!

Francis was a wreck, but I see Marbury, Crawford and Francis being a pretty formidable backcourt on most nights. It's really not bad. Marbury and Francis can drive well and Craw can take any one off the dribble. I like the current rotation, except Balkman should get all of Jefferies minutes. Make Jeff earn his time again.

What can you say about Lee. I think Isiah is really trying to get Lee that Sixth Man of the year award, cuz there's no other reason for him to be coming off the bench.

Jamal did have that one dumb play, but overall was good.

Frye to me is still a guy that we need to keep and be patient with. He has too much ability. I think he's gonna get much better as he progresses.

Francis to me just needs to keep playing and getting more used to this offense he seems at times to still be trying to figure out how to attack in this offense and only looks comfortable when things are open like a fast break or broken play.

Love Steph's defense and leadership. He's been a steadying influence. Q as well. This team just needs to sit Jerome and give Balkman some PT.

I think Lee is coming off the bench because Isiah is just stubborn. That award thing is ridiculous.

Good win...
Jerom is working to make the 6th man of the year for us.
Lee tryed too much to take over the PG role... Which is undersandable. Who can watch Steve playing with no horror?

Well it's more than just being stubborn. If he wins the Sixth Man of the Year award it is more of an honor than if he starts a fe games. There's no award for that. I think since Lee has worked so hard, he wants him to get some special recognition. It may be silly, but I can understand it, in some ways. The guy still plays lot's of minutes and finishes games, which is the most important thing. He started the 2nd half and he's clearly a starter in terms of importance.

I'd like both but I'll take the playoffs over the Sixth Man. Start him.

Well to win the award a player must come off the bench for more games than he starts. If thats the rule, Lee should be starting now since they've played 54 games.

March 2nd is the date he can begin starting. Remember...Lee started a bunch of games after the brawl.
