If Jeffries wants to play, he need to do this every night. get 10 or 12 points, 8 or more boards and 2 or 3 blocks and as many steals as possible.

PHEW! I'm afraid of what Kobe will do to us.

Yeah, I don't think that game at Staples is going to be pretty.

Give Jared his props folks. Give it up for him.

Couldn't watch much of the game but seems like a good win.

Food for thought...

When the Knicks lose their best players to injury and don't win there are some who say it's the team who "can't step up," yet if the Knicks beat a team down their best player, it appears those same folk say it's because we "got lucky."

Notice a trend?

They had no answer for Curry. It's just that simple.

You underestimate how vindictive Kobe is. He's going to take this suspension out on us. I fully expect him to try and drop 50+ on us.

No offense but that's totally wrong attitude to have - especially when that game is weeks away.

It will be funny watching Bynum/curry Monday--Curry could put him in FTbut notice how Eddy has had trouble with guys who are bigger/longer than him. He'll be able to push Bynum around a bit--but I think he'll also be in for a shock again.

Nice line for Eddy "trade him for a bag of beans" Curry tonight..

27 points on 9-18 shooting, 9 rebounds (4 offensive), 1 block, 9-12 FT (75%).

The 7 TO's are not nice, but Bynum did not appear to be able to stop him.

Hey BRIGGS...not to call you out or anything, because I would have been fine with the Knicks taking Bynum last year, but with no Kobe is it fair to say Bynum didn't "step up" tonight?

Actually, I'm only kidding since he's only 19 years old, but would the same kind of slack (if given) be awarded to the younger Knick players?

Didn't get a chance to watch past 3min into the second qrt. From early on Curry had Bynum guessing and overpowered him. It appears he had a good game. I won't take too much from the victory though. Without Kobe the Lakers are the Knicks.

Nice win but sloppy.

Curry dominated bynum, and so what he is 19, if you praise him then he deserves the criticism, he got schooled tonight...

Lee was good, 13 boards 4 assists and only 2 points, but he played bigger than his stats show..

JJ: good game, nice line 14/7/2/2, solid game, big basket, block, rebound, the kind of player we expected for 30 mil..

Frye started off the third quarter well, two post baskets, one over odom and one over vlad. Frye showed me something tonight..

Marbury was great in the third quarter, nice game..

Crawford got hot late, but was inconsistent early as usual..

Nice win, we needed this..

Wish kobe had played. really I do....

Another point.. curry still watches too much, I saw him just watch maurice Evans 3 times either get a board and go up with it, or post crawford and shoot in his face... Eddy is a joke when it comes to protecting the lane...

Scary but true. Towards the end of the game, some Laker shot the ball which bounced off the rim with the reb up for grabs. Curry, Lee, Jeff and Bynum were in the area. Lee, Jeff and Bynum went up, Curry just stood there looking up at the ball! The dude needs to start working on D.

Good game from my man Jared tonight and good game all around for the Knicks tonight. We got a treat with Kobe being out, but hey a wins a win and lets hope it turns into a streak.

I also agree with TKF and Silver; Eddy had a real nice offensive game but there were multiple instances where he just watched rebounds goto other people. He needs to start fighting for the ball and start believing that the paint is 'his' area.

I totally agree with all the Comments about Curry not being active enough on D. He get's caught just looking at guys making shots over his teammates, when he's right there and could block the shot. I'm not even talking about him having to come across the court like Camby. Just getting a hand up and intimdating or blocking shots from smaller players who are RIGHT NEXT TO HIM!

Other than that I loved his game :)

I think Eddy is deathly afraid of getting into foul trouble. I'm really beginning to think that's why he's so very unagressive on D.

EDIT:

From my buddy who's a Laker fan: "damn. Thats alright, get all your laighs in now. it'll be April before you know it. we'll be in the playoffs and you'll be watching us in the playoffs and still be stuck with isiah"

Funny thing is I kinda like the Lakers. Just not when they're playing us.
