I'm not gonna complain about it because it's a win win situation. But I want to go on record now that by him doing it this way it doesn't make him a good rebounder.

But it does benefit in several ways-
Curry doesn't have to expand energy boxong out or, um, jumping.
Curry doesn't have to think about ball trajectories

At the same time it was this same Celtic team that Curry got abused by last time we played them. Eddie looked like a joke last time we played them. Tonight he looks like a solid player.

Offensively, we are making them match up to us-notice no small ball. And when we did run we still maintained Frye on the court with Lee...no 4 guards.

Like I said, Eddy is expanding very little energy on defense and running. And he has enough size to kill the C's. Frye actually making them worry about him is another added bonus helping out Curry.

difference in this game is the zone defense and eddy + frye outplaying gomes + perkins + jefferson.

Scott Skiles on Curry: "What we miss most from Eddy is just his ability to catch the ball by the basket and dunk it."

In other words, if you get him the ball next to the goal, he is able to dunk it. As for what else he brings to the table, we don't miss that at all.
