Brown thought Collins was the best pure PG in college basketball?

Yeah...they said that last night too...

I bet he was high on Balkman too.

In the Orlando predraft camp, he was quoted as saying "I love that guy".

It figures.

This game was all about Amare.

Here's the google search result:
Thomas Says Knicks May Now Be Set
New York Times, United States - Jun 29, 2006

It's in the NYTimes archive so you have to buy it.

Let's be honest- Brown probably changed his mind, 5 minutes after that comment.

I have nothing to say to that.

Balkman is the bright spot in this game.

Do you watch basketball? the only player worth talking about tonight was Lee. Lee played hard and well. Balkman and Collins were brutal, nate was out of control and frye took an early TKO by Amare Stoudemire. You think getting a couple of opportunitic dunks in a pick up game is good basketball? Balkman was abused on the D, at one point getting the ball literally snatched out of his hands and the player then proceeded to dunk in his grill. Collins is scared shtless, showing very little skill. If you want to say anything good about the Knicks say the word Lee, because everyone else was bad. And I watched these guys tight, i watched every nuance, and I will tell you Balkman, fundamentally has a WAYS to go just in the defensive dept, let alone he only has one offensive skill.

You need to be a little creative, but I've found you can always get around NYT's signup thing using Google... just google the name of the article and dig a bit.

Outstanding reviews for Lee, solid praise for Balkman, a night to forget for Frye, Nate, and Collins. Sounds about right.

I watched very closely. If I had to guess both players will be in the nBDL working on skills, because they dont have the talent to play NBA basketball right now.

Seriously guys all the bickering is redundant.

Thanks for the game updates earlier, forgot who replied to my earlier post. I gotta say yesterdays game thread was way better. A lot of you would rather talk about everything but what is going on out on the court.

I just hope when the real season comes along you guys get it out of your system. I can't take another long season of "the days of our lives".

Some of you guys are at you home computer. Imagine how frustrating it is looking at it on a blackberry?

Let's talk basketball fellas.

Im talking basketball--if you want the real story say the word lee five times--everyone else was bad. the two rookies will probably need time in the nbdl to work on a variety of skills. im not a big fan of al harrington, but right now id easily give up both of these players if atlanta was crazed enough to do it with an ending contract.

What an ugly looking game. The turnovers just killed us (again) and Frye's ankle is going to be an issue now. This is a sign that a lot of guys laxed from yesterday's blowout and have lost they're momentum. Lee, as I thought, seems to be the only 'real deal' as far as I can see overall. I think he's going to be our 'real' star this year. I think he should definately be one of the starters. It's time.
I'll never trust this' team again.
