Magic were very fortunate. Lebron had a good look there at the basket!

Magic impressed me tonight. It's not easy to take on 8 guys and still come out ahead. Stern stroking his cat with that sneer as this game ends.

Mo Williams officially takes the Mantle from Patrick for futile guarantees.

magic in 5, great game again. howard is living up to his reckless self-promotion.

that was quite possibly the worst 3.2 second inbound play ever. mike brown needs to say his money.

Man at least Ewing showed up to the game and played his ass off. Mo just showed up. What a let down for a secondary alternative all-star.

Proof that a team can win with virtually no post-up offensive ability.

RIGGED!

btw, su, I didn't see that last play before regulation that lebron got fouled.

i think the NBA will make some kind of adjustment to reffing, as we keep hearing about, next year.

the NBA has its problems with reffing, which probably for more diehard sports fans drives folks crazy, but this is also a problem with international soccer and it hasn't hurt it much. the nba is still the most entertaining and accessible sport america has to offer most casual fans.

so, if cleveland loses the series, how many of those saying we want them to lose (and expect the cavs to win) so lebron will come to the knicks will now say we want the cavs to win to help him come?

magic are not closing out cleveland in cleveland. the refs will see to that. this series isn't over. magic will basically have a must win in game 6. i'm rooting for them, but it's an uphill battle with the refs and lebron.

i wont. while you can argue that winning can help him come, too, i think it's more likely that losing will bring him closer to switching teams.

the greater the collapse, or the greater it seems after they lose this series to the magic, the greater the chance of him coming to nyk.

edit:

maybe so, but the magic are a superior team, and when it comes down to it no amount of 'bad reffing' can derail a winner.

we must remember that this win tonight is maybe the sweep win if that lebron 3 doesn't go in in game 2.

edit:

they outplayed them for 4 games in a row, 8 of last 10 when including last season against the cavs. they outplayed them 2 in cleveland and 2 in orlando. no shot for cavs.

hope orl stays mad/hungry or they could get blown out in game 5. no need for them to assume this is over and then play like it.

g, that Dwight Howard sure is overrated.

winning 3 straight is gonna be near impossible but if Lebron really wants to take on that mantle of being "The Chosen One", then he needs to be able to will his teams to victory when they're down in a series just like Jordan used to be able to do... don't recall if MJ ever brought his teams back from a 3-1 deficit in a 7 game series or not tho... winning it all next year will be CLE's only chance of keeping Lebron in CLE if he gets eliminated by the Magic this year.
