To kind of make my point--let me in on the part of Hillarys performance that swayed a potential voter to go her way? What point was it?

She was good at counter punching taxes birtheriscm etc.. a loaded question is easy to debate. Thats why if you were really watching the debate--it was unbalanced and that was noticeable. Two thing Trump did poorly--he had her down and just couldve stayed on point by simply saying thats irrelevant IOm here for jobs security etc.. every time he got a loaded question and then he never went at her with immigration obamacare benghazzi etc or even worse subjects like being an enabler(once it got personal) and lastly he tried to call her out on stamina when it was him who went to the water many times not her. She stayed composed and looked much better than last week physically. But on acvtual talking points that mattered which were really only the first 30 minutes--I mean watch it again.

This Election reminds me of the George Bush thing all over again. You guys should've seen Georgia at that time. These people were so in love with Bush. Bush Bumper stickers! Blue Bush Lawn Signs! They were all in on Bush and then he destroyed this country and these people are falling for another IDIOT. At least this time I don't see a million Trump signs everywhere. Maybe they're starting to learn or maybe they're just embarrassed to admit openly that they're for Trump. God help us if he gets elected cuz Bush was a genius compared to Trump!!!

16/17 polls with over 2.7mm votes and 60-40 Trump. That is a great deal of room. Hillary came off like she memorized a Spanish test to me. I know what trump did wrong but I know what Hillary did not even come close to doing. And America isnt stupid.

Trump had a bunch of 400 lb hackers rigging those polls from the comfort of their bed.

I'm hearing that all 90% of these poll entries were made by his 10 year old computer whiz son. That's what I'm hearing. Sad! I won't accept them... we have to find out what the hell is going on.

well if the #Trumpwon hashtag exists, I guess he won. Zogby has nothing on you BRIGGS.

Here's a tip for your boy: less Rosie O'Donnell, more Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Lester Holt (a Republican) was asking loaded questions favoring Hillary Clinton?! Are you sure you're not suffering from a confirmation bias here?

Does it not scare you that the last time we elected a relatively dumb president he nearly wrecked the world??? When will people learn? Bush was so bad that I can't understand why people in this country seem like they haven't learned that lesson yet. Trump would be the worst thing to happen to this country in our lifetime. I can't for the life of me understand your love for Trump BRIGGS. What is it about Trump that makes you believe he would be good for the country?

Even if that poll is right, I think Hillary would be better off simplifying many of her answers. She doesn't talk like ordinary people - she's more like a professor. I'm a supporter of hers but I think she could use fewer SAT words and give shorter sentences. She also missed a lot of opportunities. She mentioned the 6 bankruptcies - great. But she should have said, we can't afford to have Trump bankrupt the nation like he bankrupted his businesses. She shouldn't have waited to bring up the "racist birther" issue either (though "racist birther" is a good word choice on her part). Obama is probably the most popular politician in the country right now. If she can get all his supporters to vote for her, she'll win by a landslide. She should be talking about the racist birther movement much more.

You mean everywhere in Rowayton, CT. Drive around Hartford and surrounding areas and come back to me. Pretty sure your crowd isn't a sample size that can quantify "everywhere in CT."

But we see what we want to see.

Spot on. She needs to dumb it waaaaay down for the masses. Trump is great at the bumper sticker politics. Most cant handle more than 4-5 word answers and Trump may have won the debate saying nothing but "Ill do it better." "My plan will work." and of course "my relationships with these people are incredible."

She could have been tighter, and missed opportunities, I agree. She may have been putting more energy into her physical presentation to counter the stamina crap, and making sure her tone was as appealing as it could be. I expect her to tighten her delivery up. And personally, I kinda liked it when she let go a bit and had that scowl on her face. A little Iron Lady could go a long way.

It's really the cost of admitting that they are wrong. That's what it boils down to. But there is another argument favouring Trump. People are sick and tired of establishment politicians. They want change. Admittedly a large group of them have no idea that the change they are supporting will be far worse in the long term, so they are blindly getting in line behind this jackass and repeating his gobbledygook double standards to boot.

No, I don't think she needs to dumb it down. It's straight out disrespectful. People are perfectly able to understand what she is saying, she has very poor stage presence, she isn't very dynamic or commanding. But we don't need her to use simpler sentences.

I hate the cynicism of talking to the electorate like they are a 5th grader, even if you are right. Don't we want our president to be the smartest guy/gal in the room? And not smart like "I don't pay taxes" smart. But yes, she should tighten them up. Obama should coach her, his style is great at talking to both the nerds and the jocks IMHO.

Remember when presidential rhetoric would lift the citizenry up to a higher level instead of stooping?

Ever read speeches by Lincoln or one of the Roosevelts? Even Reagan.

Maybe that's why our worldwide education metrics suck. We don't demand excellence from ourselves.

We now live in a country where appearing prepared like you studied for your Spanish test is a bad thing. Retarded.
