I miss Nate Robinson more than I miss Jeremy Lin. At least he actually accomplished something in a Knicks uniform by winning 3 dunk contests.

Lin Christ was in a Knick uni for only a prolonged White Castle cheeseburger fart, and yet dudes are still crying over him like we let Steve Nash in his prime get away.

Pathetic.

Winning Dunk Contest determines how valuable you are to a team? Don't be a clown. Harold Miner won a dunk contest and he sat at the deep end of the bench and retired early.

I'm not clown.

Lin is clown.

A Millionaire Clown.

True. He Harvard, he ain't stupid. He made the right choice for himself financially and will probably get voted to a couple of All Stars, because of his decision.

I wonder if Lin will turn down the All Star if he somehow beats out Chris Paul. Knowing how humble Lin is, he probably would turn it down unless somebody forces him to play (cough*STERN*cough)

Lin knows his limits. Why would he play in a game with Elite Players and make himself look like a fool out there? You know the other players are going to make him look silly just out of spite.

We only have a 2 or 3 year window, we can't afford his growing pains, and his inability to hit the 3 ball off the swing pass.

We have Jason Kidd. My plan was to bring back Lin and sign Jason Kidd. Instead the Knicks focused on trading Shumpert for Nash and offering him the measly MLE which was a pipe dream

and no one said Lin deserved any awards last year

I am a big fan of Lin but your post is like the android/apple community never ending I am better than your dad :).

How so? I just posted stats. I suppose some think Lin should only be mentioned when he plays well? I am more than happy to give him credit when he plays well and point out his bad play also. The isssue for some of course, is that he has been mostly bad this year.

You answered my point, you never stop always pointing out things. Lin is gone, I am a knicks fan but seriously this is childish behavior as I pointed out the days of "my dad is better than yours". Enough said.

It goes both ways....After Lin had a good 5 game run, then we get the "Lin is a future star" thread...

Also Asik better than Chandler and one poster suggesting that if the Knicks don't win a championship this year it will be because they didn't match Houstons offer to Lin. Its hard not to react to some of this stuff. This is a Knick board.

Guilty as charged but I think to win the chip you need talent. I thought Lin put us over the top and was insurance against injuries. ( Having homecourt and or the best record helps). Now Felton is out and his backup, though great, is old and too many minutes for Kidd is risky. Sheed and Camby's injuries are also not helping us.

I would rather be wrong and have a championship at the end of the year, but thibgs just got a bit more interesting with the Felton injury. Perhaps it ends up helping us though...

And he only got suspended 1 game....

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Nah.

If Knicks suddenly went on a 12 game losing streak, you betcha your sweet behinds that the talk of Felton over Lin will be brought up just as long as Lin/Harden's Rockets are in the 4th or 5th seed in the west.

It is unavoidable.

Wade is a dirty player. How are you going to raise one of your knees knowing that it was going to go between another dude's legs. I'm glad Sessions gave Wade a fatherly heart-to-heart talk about it.

Refs just need to butt out and let Players talk it out for a few seconds instead of always jumping to conclusion and calling tech fouls for no reasons.

There is no circumstance where I will miss Lin. There are those who miss Lin right now despite his overwhelmingly bad play so its easy to conclude that these same people will miss Lin no matter how well or bad he plays regardless of how well the Knicks play. They are addicted to Lin.

Lin was about potential.

Your not going to have your answer in the first 30 games.

ITs not about individual awards, its about his effect on the team and a higher ceiling.

Forget the money issue for a second and then decide?

whats tangible is 21-8. Felton and Lin are both playing at the same level: Inconsistent.

Without the money issue I take Lin.

But money is an issue.

While we are at it gimme Dlee back. Then add about 9million more for another player or two.

Delete Amare.

Back to reality, this team is ok for now.

If you don't understand why some like Lin even though they tell you 100 times then leave it alone.

If you don't understand why fans don't want to hear about Lin anymore its also pretty evident.

I'll say Melo elevated his game which proved both lovers and haters wrong. Melo was not as praise worthy at the time of the trade but lovers worshipped him. If you feel you were "justified" then you get that Melo had the potential to be better.

Ok, I get that.

Then those same folks need to at least understand Lin's potential.

Clippers are on a tear and are firing on all cylinders right now. That team is deep as hell.

Y'all worshipped Mooby cuz you wanted to love Mooby.

Mooby Stepped up.

Maybe MoobyLyn would too.

Is he worth the money? Not if you paying the tax.

In my book, its ok for folks to miss Lin.

I suppose if thats true, other folks will post his bad games.

I would imagine the Lin Lovers do know when he has a bad box score. They might be watching the games.

I doubt Lin Haters are watching.

"Im coming home and a standing Ovation" for Melos first game was a Starphuck Mooby worship moment.

Lin haters only glance at the stat box and then trolls Lin Lover with it. If Lin's having a great game, Lin Haters stays quiet. When Lin plays a lousy game, Lin Haters all comes out in full force and a majority of them are from New York.
