Yep, probably. I don't remember any person saying he was useless. When he was a Knick he played hard. Until he didn't run back to complain to the refs, or gave the fans the thumbs down or sulk or whatever else it was he did when he was here. Is he Superman now? Robin ? Spiderman? Doesn't matter really as he is no longer on the team. Do I wish he was more mature and complete as a Knick? Of course. But at this point why are we even taking about him. This is a Knicks forum where we talk all Knicks stuff. Hence the reroute of the discussion to his replacement.

A couple of things.
We both know that him playing well in playoffs does matter to you.
You responding to post above is first clue.
Second, you may have misread thread title.
It’s AROUND the NBA, hence, people taking bout LA vs Minny and how well Julius is playing.

Biggest hater lie was that he sucked in playoffs. Leaving out he was never healthy in them.
My point was always that a true basketball fan who is fairly gauging a players worth should consider value in the formula. Most Randle haters never accounted for his production at the $26M mark.
Nor did they appreciate the 90’s style of play some of us appreciated.

Fair take. I agree 💯. I especially liked the 9O's style. I felt like we could beat anyone playing that way.

What's on the court or off it that can matter. Guys like Tee Morant and Lavar Ball remained defiant when called out.
Pops ****ed up by getting caught up in the moment but quickly relented.
Tyrese did not at all try to defend what happend.

Good for Indy for calling this out and at least showing good faith by not having him at any games. Home or away. The tone of the apology was Cool in my book. They took full responsibility. No "context was I was happy" or any other bull****. Plain and simple, he ****ed up and was remorseful.

Also kudos to Giannis for not losing his cool in that moment. He handled it properly. I understand these guys are well versed their responsibility and part of the price to making stupid money is keeping emotions in check with fans.

Yes, Pops should not be on the floor. He literally crossed the line into bad taste. When called out, he backed down. He did the right thing. yeah, we need more of that actually. We have a sitting U.S. President that won't do that. Couple of guys here when proved wrong don't do it. Im sure Im guilty from time to time myself.
Tee Morant and Lavar Ball are two that to me love to run their mouth unapologeticly. So yeah, he gets a cookie for at least owning a bad moment. Tyrese said his pops was wrong right off the bat. He gets a cookie too for that.
