KD’s weakness is he needs more superstar teammates.

Sweet! I sense that if the Nets flame out in the first round the scapegoat is Nash. Celts still have to win two more but it would be a beautiful thing.

Maybe Doucherant can get Labronna to be his super friend too.

Of course the fall guy is Nash. Who they going to blame, the semi-invisible Flat Earther?

Meanwhile, still no sighting of BenJordan Simmons... And Philly is up 3-0 with Harden only shooting 5 free throws... It's so beyond weird being a Celtic and a Philly fan at the same time!

Hating the Nits gives one so many irritated fanboy options! LMAO

I think the Knicks and Thibs laid out the game plan to defend KD. We couldn't sustain it but a team like the Celtics has the tool to do it. Jericho blitzing KD showed to the rest of the world that you can bother KD. Celtics has a slew of long defenders with quick feet that really bothered KD. Also, they took it to another level. They were sending blitzing defenders from all angles. Nash needs to step up and figure out how to attack this. I think he will need KD playing off the ball and getting him open through screens or this is over in 4.

KD excels playing in an offense that promotes player and ball movement. KD can iso, but not exclusively.

The way they are running their sets they want him to initiate the offense on the top of the key. They need to have someone else start the offense and have KD and Kyrie run off screens. I would have Dragic do this and put a couple of bigs to set screens. This would move KD and Kyrie to the 2 and 3 spot.

Nets missing two starters.......a healthy Ben Simmons and Joe Harris.
Defense was never going to be the priority.
Curious if they can get even something from Simmons.
Once Boston found its groove they been NBA best team. Im not rooting one vs. tne other. In fact, Im just not even watching.
Toronto/philly series is interesting.

Watching this Wolves vs Grizz game and I see a high IQ play by D'lo. 2 on 1 break with him and Pat Bev going the same speed at the same part of the court. He slows down just before passing the ball so the defender also slows down and that gives Pat Bev enough space for a wide open dunk. If he kept going the same speed the defenders would have been next to him and been able to make a play on the ball after the pass. Sometimes something as small as that is the difference between an easy basket or the defender making a block or steal from behind.

If the Wolves can play with this type of intensity every game, they can be scary good!

So much for that....the Griz have put the clamps on the Wolves in the 4th quarter. So far, Griz outscoring them 28-7 in the 4th

Obi can have a Brandon Clark-like impact on a game. 20 pts 6 rbs without having any plays called for him. He just makes winning plays by moving without the ball, being in the right spot, and having the ability to finish around the rim.

They looked a lot like us in giving up 20pt leads.

The great Pete Vecsey once said there’s nothing more inconsequential than a partial NBA score.

Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball has already been ruled out for the postseason and there’s still reasons for long-term concern, according to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times. Ball has continued to deal with discomfort in his left knee and coach Billy Donovan isn’t sure when he’ll be able to begin an offseason training program. “If it gets to a place where he’s still having discomfort after a longer period of time, I don’t know what the next step would be,” Donovan said.

Memphis vs minny has a lot of lessons. One is we need real alphas who kick it up a notch when down. And who don’t choke

We spend a lot of time looking at highlight reels and various measurements but we should spend as much if not more time looking at what prospects have between their ears and in their heart

I agree. Every successful team has an alpha. Hopefully, RJ can be that for us.

I think our front office has done a good job of the intangibles with the draft - hence someone like Grimes and McBride and Simms.

And as good as RJ & Randle might be, I think they are 1-2 notches below where the play off teams' best players are.
