this air-conditioning is a travesty.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

It's just game 1 but wow, the Spurs are determined. This is going to be a great series.

Strange game. My sense, before Lebron went out the first time in the 4th, was that the Heat defense had snapped shut, and that the Spurs were having to work a whole lot harder for their points than were the Heat. I'd be concerned if I were Popovitch. Lebron isn't likely to miss a 4th quarter again, and it's hard to imagine the Spurs will shoot 60% throughout.

Spurs got lucky tonight with the Air conditioning and Lebron cramping up- I have no idea who is going to win this series.

I would not put it past the spurs to cut off air. They damn near took Nash's head off a few years back. They Had BOwen scare dudes. They are men who play to win.

This is how it should be played.

They don't get dirtier than the Heat. Wade with kick upside George's head and now Chalmers with the elbow that just changed the complexion of the game. No one says anything but I truly believe that Wade purposely put a knee in the back of George's head.

Yep couldn't agree with you more on Dirty-Wade play. Last yr. Lance got it, this yr P.George

Let me tell ya something
Good bounce back win for Mia. HEAT & their fans,

However Miami players and team can jump up & down all they want.
They ain't liked, they ain't respected (outside L.James) and they seem to get 4ever pass for how their team
was composed on ESPN TV few years ago with bunch of baloons & 3 Stars creating premise for running the league.

But don't fully blame players. Its all about Pat Riley and Dwayne Wade, in pro sports we've never seen such.
Public Phone calls & TV/Espn creates premise which once upon a time "We'd call it Tampering" However so goes it! ..

SA Spurs is a pretty good team too! they have to bounce back in Miami
Miami Heat their org. & arrogance Can Go Kiss My A_s_s 24x7 They will always draw disdain
on how they believe they are the greatest team ever in NBA modern times, not even the Bulls nor Pistons(bad boyz)
are disliked like these guys, Lets not forget the nights of "The Decision". Lets not forget the HEAT putdowns
as if they own OR entitled to NBA championships cause they bended the rules.

They use to revere being Disliked NOW they want to make friends of NBA Hoops fans outside of Florida
to be accepted and loved based on how good they are, They will never pass that test here !
Walt Clyde was right ! LBJ may be great he works hard deserves some fame but As Clyde say they very good
but HEAT aint great!..

Wade punks the whole league into this nice 'not so nice' sneaky dirty guy. Good for him, he'll go to HOF as such that.

I agree, the Heat are not great, but every year since "The decision" Lebron has matured and gotten better and better on and off the court.

THis guy is not liked because he made it look too easy and he clowned.
The last three years he has been focused and self contained more then preciously. He has earned my respect. This guy on the court is Amazing.

Im pulling for Spurs.

Heat are not great, but Lebron is.

I'm a bit confused here. How does a team that has lost one series in nigh on 4 years get to be not great?

Your not confused, the legions of blogs, threads and tweets measuring the body of work from past great teams and the nature of the "superfriends" in fabricating their own team puts ones opinion above another?

4 straight finals is nothing unless you win them.

Nalod thinks Heat are not so great but Lebron is and is carrying them on his back. Wade is stepping up when needed. Its not an organic flowing team SAS or other great teams of the past.

Lebron is on Mount Rushmore but until his career is finished can one really measure what he is doing. This is not college ball when "Making the final four" is a big deal. Lose in the finals is rarely given much cred.

At this point I don't even get what people criticise Lebron for- he has fixed every weakness he used to get blasted for, the hardest one being going from slight choker to clutch. He hasn't said anything obnoxious in a year or two- he's matured a lot.

Agreed....Lebron is the most polarizing figure mainly because he's a star in the Social-Media explosion/age. He gets critiqued on a possession by possession basis which is ridiculous, and something Jordan and the likes didn't have to go through. People are still holding onto the decision or the fact that the media Exalted him before he accomplished anything as a way to knock him down. They wait in the wings for the slightest ding in the armor, then jump out in social media to say...See, he's mentally weak because he couldn't finish a championship game with cramps....etc...

Does a weak-minded person win 2 finals MVP's, never lose back to back games in the playoffs in 2-3 years, drop 37 in game 7 last year, score 45 in Boston in an elimination game, etc?
