Overall he played great..but he got lit up in the first quarter..

Seemed to get his legs back, but I think it was also a head thing for him.

He has to make more of those open shots, though.

that GS defense is stifling

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Somewhere Phil Jackson is thinking intently about whether he should make another Tweet about the over-emphasize of the 3pt shot in today's game.

I'm suddenly feeling better about offering Draymond Green the max.

Exciting and entertaining, but a bit of a comedy of errors tonight. Can't believe mozgov was rooted to the bench after the game he had.

They lose an offensive option. Tristian Thompson does many good things, but he does not go to the basket on the pick and roll, cannot hit that little pick and pop jumper, has no post up came that I have seen, and is a marginal passer at best.

But he defends and rebounds...He got caught on the perimeter on a smaller player and did fine..U have to remember it's about stops down the stretch..

I know there is a balance between O and D, but you have to score to even reach the stretch. Thompson should at least have a post game or some kind of short J he is comfortable with.

He's a tough and tenacious defender/rebounder but seems clueless on offense. Basically his job is to stay out of the way, it would seem.

Sorry, but he had 1 year in college and this is his 4th with the Cavs- no excuse to be at this level of incompetence offensively.

Would not touch him with a 10 ft pole in FA, by the way.

Didn't Thompson recently switch from shooting right handed to left?

Gsw lost this game. They kept on forcing too many bad 3s. Just relax and run the plays! Nevertheless, great game to watch.
Side note: Jr Smith is still the same. What a fecking idiot

Had never heard that one. I just don't understand some players. He's another guy who has not upped his game. I understand the value he brings, but how hard is it for him to develop his offensive game to a point where, if you are rooting for the Cavs,,
you don't cringe when he has the ball on offense.

Same old J.R. Smith. He's keeping it real, in the playoffs. He's been playing almost as well as he ever played with the Knicks but still boneheaded.

JR is in the finals as a member of the cave and all that goes with it. Nobody disputes his talent, but his head is not right.

Ron Artest for years folded in the playoffs and used to have migraines. Then he was a member of a laker team that won making contribution.

Like Ron, JR is very very talented. Some players don't do well and get crushed by the moment. JR has hit a few game winners on circus shots, but this is a different type of clutch that is required.

Shumps deflection on the last play last nite was big. I have more faith in him than JR.

Lebron is doing something special.

Della just face guarded Curry for the whole game. He did not help on any player.
