I guess I'm glad I missed it. How did they manage to blow this game?
6 seconds to go in the game, Penny inbounds to Marbury who dribbles for 1/2 a second and throws it right back to Penny at the 3 point line who tries to drive through a double team. Penny then losses his handle, gets stripped and the Kings knock the ball into the Knicks back court. Time expires, Knicks lose again!
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Unbelievable. I can't believe I just watched that.

Did Isiah make some sort of pact with the devil for Steph last year that came due in 2005?

How do you shot over 60% from the field, have a 10 rebound advantage - and lose?

damn this was ours, tough ass loss.

however i noticed how marbury just walked off, while cwebb and like jyd and houston came over to comfort Penny. I know marbury has a right to be pissed, but he should be more of a leader.

and even then you gotta give up 36 pts and make commit a couple of turnovers in the last 45 seconds - it's hard to do.

The Kings made every shot they took down the stretch and the Knicks got that scared look in their eyes that all struggling teams get. They doubled Marbury at the top of the key, they went to Penny and Penny killed them. I can't believe this. I really can't believe this. Penny was clearly fouled on the last drive, one of the most ridiculous no-calls I've ever seen.

I feel so bad for this team right now. They did everything right for 47:30.

IDK about that.... THeres only so many nice things that could have been said in that conversation. Wait, there is none. So that kinda works out imo.

At least TT and Marbury had nice games. If TT plays like this everygame we might win a few more. Btw, did JYD get any minutes tonight ?

The problem is the way we're playing now it looks like we'll need multiple lottery picks.

If Marbury took "the last shot" he would have been crucified for shooting with more than one guy on him

Ouch...that one REALLY schmaahts.

This season is certainly becoming as close unbelievable as possible.

So much for "this one we win" huh? (btw, Nalod, the last few poems have been quite amusing)

Knick fans, we just have to grin and bear it. At some point this season will either get better, or end. It can't get much worse, at this point.

It's interesting to observe the way we are all responding to the turn of events for this team since January. Superstitious behavior appears to be increasing (on this forum, at least) as well as assertions of victory while we have seen this team collapse late in the 4th quarter repeatedly for over a month. All of which could be perceived as a means of escape from the pain of supporting this organization.

Here's to the hope that things will turn around sooner, than later.

Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

If you noticed, Bibby was on him and pointed for Evans to double to his right aka the direction Marbury usually drives. Yeah, he could've driven through a double team, but he gave it up to an open teammate. Penny didn't get the call, what else is new.

The way these loses are coming, it really just feels like it's not our year. I know that's a cliche, but this loss is ridiculous. I can't believe this.

I think it was actually a play for Penny. He knew he ****ed up and probably pleaded in the huddle to get the play called for him. Not to mention Steph was going to have to go through a double team to get a shot off. But it certainly would've made sense.

Everyone in the building knew the Knicks were looking for Marbury, the Kings had two guys at the top of the key on him, and the rest of the team would have collapsed on him too if he managed to get by the first two. This is the problem with having only perimeter options to score on a late game play.

You know, I hate rooting for the draft, and hoping for us to lose and all that, but after this... error.... it just doesn't seem like we're supposed to succeed this year. Next Year WOOO

I'll have to take back what I said. I can't get the game so I just thought that Steph didn't want to take the last shot.....I was wrong.
14 missed FT's. Why didn't they foul with 40 sec left and up by 5?
I believe that is where the mistake was made by coach Williams. I see that time and time again, why let the other team shoot when you don't have to?
