you cant miss threw throws at the end of the game. This is the kind of game that we need Houston back so he could set up shop behind the arc and drain the trifector.

I couldn't watch the game, but from what I have read, it looks to me that Mobley needed to have a much taller defender on him. However, things like that happen. The boy was just on fire. I am hopefull of the fact that we had more than four players in double figures, especially TT. If Nazr was to score a little more, perhaps the outcome would not have been the same.

that is definitely an assignment that Jamal should have been able to handle, eventhough he is 30 lbs lighter. Adjustments should have been made, I would personally have double teamed him just to get the ball out of his hands. Marb or TT should have provided some help defense on Mo, but hey, it was a good game after all. A team had to win, unfortunately it wasn't us.

doesn't matter...he was just in a zone tonight...no one was stopping him...he took Penny in the low post & knocked down a turn around fade away in his face.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

At least our players played hard. They didn't just show up. What is the deal with all those 3s that our boys shot tonight? Crawf was cold as hell, Marb was cold, TT was cold. I can understand 3 shots each, but 6 is a little too many for me. A player should not have to take more than 4 3s the most in a game, except if he is having a great night shooting the ball from there. That needs to be corrected.

It was bad, but curious, which set of free throws were more important, these 2, or the 2 in Atlanta?
He was 48/49 coming into the game and misseds 3 FT. Even if he had gotten one, it could have been a different game.

**** happens. Let's hope for the best tomorrow. I am happy that Hill got a win, I am not mad about that. I just hate the fact that Mo was allowed to score that many points.

I saw the disappointing game at a bar while wearing my Ewing jersey. Here are my comments:

I thought both teams played well overall, but the Magic have a slightly better team than the Knicks (at least with Houston out).

Steph, Crawford, and BIG Timmy all had nice games overall. Obviously, the two missed FTs by Steph and the turnover by Jamal killed us, though. I thought Jamal's shot selection was a lot better. Today might have been the best yet that I've seen him attack the basket.

Nazy needed to be on the floor for more minutes in the 4th quarter. It pissed me off when Lenny took out Nazy and put JYD in and then JYD missed a defensive rebound. Our best big man must get the key minutes in the 4th quarter.

I really liked BIG Timmy's aggressiveness tonight. I hope he's getting back on track. Getting the real Tim back and getting Houston back would be HUGE for us.

Kurt shot well and Sweetney made a nice contribution off the bench, especially off the glass. Ariza struggled.

Some lost are very good for team character. I hope that they learn from it collectively and move on to the next game. Again, I am happy to hear that TT is doing a little better than the last few games.

i truly believe if Mobley didnt have that abboration of a game tonight the Knicks would consistently win against the Magic. I thought the Knicks played very well except for a few mental mistakes. Otherwise it was a good team effort. I mean Mobley hit practically every shot he took and he is nowhere near as good as he played tonight. What can you do, players you dont expect to break out will do that to you. I thought it was a great game and i was very into it. Ooutcome sucked though.

despite mobley being unconscious from 3 and francis having his way for most of the game, we lost the game more than they won it.

bad turnovers - culprit # 1
poor offense vs. the zone - culprit # 2
missed free throws - culprit # 3

their big men weren't really a factor and mobley didn't miss. very simple. our offense against the zone is/was awful and will get better when h20 returns. what can you do about the free throws? marbury has been water this season until tonight. one of those games. tim showed up in the 2nd half and the 4th which is a good sign at least. i remember at least 5-6 bad bad bad turnovers. mental errors. maybe steph and the others were pressing too hard, i don't know but it was the first time in a while we saw that.

good game. we lost. the key now is do we lose tomorrow in charlotte or do we bounce back. that makes a big statement about our team tomorrow.

I disagree, we shouldnt take the zone out of the nba just because we lost the game because of it. Nba teams should be able to play any defense they want like a school yard. I cringe everytime i hear of a defensive 3 second violation, try making that kind of call in a park. We should have thrown the zone right back at them on the defensive end and became an inside out team on the offensive end. Doing so would have given us open shots and we could have broke there zone wide open with the post up and kick outs of Kurt Thomas and Sweetney.

Just my opinion
