There's a system?
Can someone fill me in on this erudite system that is so complex the players are uncomfortable after 70 games? martin wrote:Man this is kinda troubling quite franklyTweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: |

Josh Hart likes to press and does it a lot but he’s really a half court player on offense. This is why I wanted Malone we needed a different coach because Thibs was not getting along with players and his schtick got old but this is reeking of replacing Pat Riley with Don Nelson |

Which seems to be the main issue for the team. That, and consistency from long range. Starters were 7-29 last night. The system doesn’t know what to do with two shoot first play defense second type players. It’s hard to surround them with 1 trick ponies and expect to be consistent. It’s hard to build around KAT that refuses to push back and rather comply. JB watches his team synergy from sideline, then comes in and continues to ball hog. Will be an interesting playoffs Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.

This is mostly him. He can flip a switch more than any player in the league and it’s not even close. The problem is we need to stop relying on him to carry us in 4th quarters all the time. |

Josh is better in full court. With the second unit, hart can lead the team and drive that full court attack. I think Josh will be even more impactful than simply standing around while their center is guarding him. That’s embarrassing. Deuce will guard the top PG/SG Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.

I get the injury this year messed things up , but Deuce getting an extended run with the starters is long overdue. He brings the shooting and Point of attack defense. He also gives them secondary ball handling to help out Brunson. Hart makes more sense as a change of pace 6th man. His impact is dulled as a starter. It makes too much sense and has for a long time. |
