Not sure how you work on facing bigger and more athletic players? Which seems to be the main issue for the team. That, and consistency from long range. Starters were 7-29 last night.

I think the real issue is the the fact in these games towns isn’t touching the ball every time down or close to it …

Jalen needs to play more off the ball and the offense needs to run through towns . Exactly like shaq and Kobe .

This coaching staff I’m convinced isn’t to bright .

Can’t think of a team that can stop towns from dominating the game . That isn’t the case with Brunson at his size teams can easily shut him down or make it really hard for him to be himself …

If you run the offense through towns it makes the game easier for everyone on the floor .. when you run your offense through brunson it doesn’t make the game easier for the rest of the guys on the floor…

Run the offense through towns and we will get to the promise land. If we run it through Brunson we might get past the second round .

I’ve heard an nba analyst agree with Starting deuce instead of hart would create more space on offense for KAT and CAP two man game. the starting 5 is better in half court. Josh is better in full court.

With the second unit, hart can lead the team and drive that full court attack. I think Josh will be even more impactful than simply standing around while their center is guarding him. That’s embarrassing.

I agree with this. I get the injury this year messed things up , but Deuce getting an extended run with the starters is long overdue. He brings the shooting and Point of attack defense. He also gives them secondary ball handling to help out Brunson. Hart makes more sense as a change of pace 6th man. His impact is dulled as a starter. It makes too much sense and has for a long time.

Yes, they definitely should do this.

Hart is so much better as an X factor coming off the bench.

Brunson is a Goddamned Sniper last 2 minutes of the games.

It seemed weird that until the last week or so the Knicks really shied away from running Brunson/ KAT PnR, yet they were able to show that when they do it almost always results in a clean shot. Knicks can run that play throughout the playoffs and teams will have to adjust on the fly.

We all remember the GSW death lineup of Iggy with the starters. Kerr held that lineup in reserve to spring on opponents, knowing that the more opponents saw them, the more comfort they would get defending it. I think the same holds true with Brown. Once the playoffs start, I expect to see Brown be a lot more aggressive with his lineup choices.

Finally, I just hope that age and experience matter. Unless Miami gets in, Brown should be the most experienced coach in the East, hopefully he can Jedi mind trick a few wins.

And don't forget, Mitchell Robinson won't be sitting out games in the playoffs. Knicks were 40-20 with Robinson and 13-9 without (.667 vs. .590%). Also on average the games Robinson played in were vs. tougher opponents (.512 vs. .488 opponents win %). These aren't huge differences but at least we can say the Knicks won more vs. stronger opponents whenever Robinson played.
