Nice bounce back game. KAT playing like he did early in his career has been very encouraging. Wasnt sure if he was going to play the same role he did in Minny.

Kat played good defense. Got tough boards. Spread the floor and hit his shots. Great game from him.

So far, not seeing the floor spacing I was hoping for. He’s been working in pretty packed paint. Really though we were going to see a 4-1 wildcat and not just a pick and roll offense.

We got the wing stop D we were hoping for. We also looked the like hustling Knicks of last year. KAT used his size and ate up boards.

So now the conclusion is we are very good. The unfortunate thing is Boston is absurdly good.

Sims is really working. He might not look that improved yet, but there are glimpses and also the support of Thibs says a lot.

They are, but we are still a long way to go before we get to our real potential.

Felt like a lot of good individual efforts but the team isn’t running any offensive sets with any fluidity. We blew out the team that knocked us out last year and still have a ton of upside. I want to see better ball movement.
