Honestly I’d play him ahead of Toppin as backup PF. He gives more versatility and adds a 2way player to the bench unit that Toppin just doesn’t.

The GSW became clueless on defending the Knicks trio front court of Cam Obi and MitchRob or Gibson.
Cam & Obi both slashing to the basket kept catching the GSW off guard.
Cam's defense performance tonight was the same defense he showed in the post season games last season.
I can't wait to see what D.Rose come up with having Cam & Obi in a lineup.

This win proves that some players were mentally checked out with all the trade rumors. Now that’s behind us and rose coming back, I can see us in the play in tournament.

But thibs has some work to do. We clearly need to make room for RJ and rose, if we want to see more cam.

That means 2 vets need to sit. Kemba is one obvious choice even though he made some plays in the 1st half. I also fell asleep. But cam needs some playing time and I’m not sure how unless we buy Kemba out or sit some of the vets.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

As I was watching tonight's game I had to remind myself that it's just a game. I can't allow myself to get frustrated over loses to the point of not looking forward to Knicks basketball games. What's the worst that'll happen we miss the playoffs, hope for a good draft and get right back to it last year.

I almost forgot what winning felt like throughout this brutal stretch and man did Julius Randle play his heart out with 28 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 block and only 2 turnovers. Loved it.

And it was good to see Cam Reddish finally get some real playing time (19-20 minutes) I really like his Defense.

And yeah. Yeah. Evan my most disliked Fournier had a good game. 22 big points and a couple of momentum swinging big shots (can't be a hater all the time 🤫).

Who knows. Maybe this win @ Golden State gives our players a little confidence and self belief moving forward. And if not. Hey. There's always next year but I've gotta do better as a fan/poster. Just been frustrated watching us lose as of late.

Nice win. Refreshing.

LOok at you, sharing your emotions and talking it thru. Good to see your taking it well and that “its just a game” comes to you. “I’ve gotta do better as a fan/Poster”. Yes NYKMentality, You do and by gosh, your good enough, smart enough, and you care that we have faith that. You’ll succeed in being the best fan you can be. We all fall from grace a bit. I suggest you continue with the meds and leave the Fournier restraining order be and just respect it. BTW, Thibs did not use your quote in the locker room.

40 points in the paint, made free throws, 39% from 3. Who are these guys? Randle running, Fournier with defensive effort, it’s like I don’t ev n know you anymore.

It's what happens when RJ is missing

It is interesting watching games from the other teams network every now and then. They were so confused at how much better we play when we run the ball and why we continue to play with the slowest pace in the league when it does not benefit us at all. They brought it up again on that Obi to Cam fast break. Said if we have athletes like this why don't they run more.

Good defense promotes fast breaks. its a fair comment but reality that is missed by casual observations is the play that leads to the play.
Often we question when Thibs pulls the plug on a yoot after. Bad play. Seems unfair. Migth have to look at a few possessions back to get what happend. Missing assignments? Missing passes? IQ missing cutting players when he starts weaving and then gets in trouble and subsequent turnover. What did he miss before that happend?

Sorry I fell asleep on the game last night and will watch 4th quarter later.

It's a fair question, I think they tried to in beginning of year and it kind of fizzled out.

Not to make an excuse but maybe trying to figure things out in beginning of year and then Rose out and COVID messed up everything big time. Kemba sucking. Randle not buying in. Mitch out of shape, Noel out. Randle, Fournier, RJ maybe not meshing right away (good reason to play more preseason minutes? ).

He’s probably thinking spacing, and setting up for a 3. Just a guess.

I totally get where NYKMentality is coming from. Might be a Queens thing LOL. I often think to myself, 'Why are you getting so upset? It's sports and you have no control over it!' LOL It's just in my blood I guess. I've been watching this team since I was a little kid. Knicks are very important in my life. I live and die with them in a weird way. But yeah, at almost 40 I need to do a better job of taking a step back and not get crazy. It is what it is.

Where was this effort all season? Sorry but it's hard to trust Randle moving forward. You can't pick and choose when to play or how hard you gonna go! I don't think his latest level is sustainable but the effort and energy is. If Randle can finish this season playing like this, it will go a long way in winning back the fans and at the same time, increasing his trade value.

my favorite play as well.

If we end up making the play offs by one win, we can probably credit this GS win to Cam's play. I love Kevin Knox, but he wouldn't have been used by Thibgs and we probably lose last night.

And then we can have a real debate about the value of the draft pick we traded for him.

yes. As much as i enjoy Martin's choice of IG pictures to start a thread they're not doing ****ie-poo-poo for our record.

I didn't watch the game. I said starts too late; they'll lose and i'll just get to bed that much later and frustrated. Checked the score at halftime and talked myself out of watching the second hald, saying they're just tricking me to watch only to blow it. Woke up to a nice surprise.

was glad to see the nice comments on Cam. He is legitimately long and is very tantalizing. KK wasn't short but he always looked a bit awkward, like a puppy whose feet are too big for the rest of his body

My moment zen was after the 1994 series. helped me enjoy the 1999 run. I had no expectations of them winning. After losing in 5 I was chill to enjoy what had happend.

Im not results oriented. I look back in time at the moment a decision was made and the parameters/assets in place. McDyess was a disaster but the plan was decent. His leg was good. It was his other leg that popped. Bloody awful. Im not defending it or Layden. It was a Dolanesque thing then and aftwards.
Isiah the moment he went on Letterman and disrespected Don Chaney it was handwriting on the wall. His bizzare negotiations with Fratello and subsequent wilkens hiring was awful. Im sure I came unglued a bit in that era but it was so bad It was breathtaking.

We can go on and on. Some deicsions have potential to work out, others are doomed. Amare was doomed. Melo had potential.
PHil was a good idea. It did not execute. The smartest thing he wanted was to trade KP at the peak of his value he gets fired for it. You can’t make this **** up.

Yesterday was a cakewalk compared to this teams history. I enjoyed watching randle be his best randle. Loved seeing Grimes splash some on Klay who he could emulate. Not saying he gets that good!!!

The days of getting bent out of shape on knicks are long gone. I spent 5 years in my yoot living in Queens.
