Don't be surprised if Randle takes a step back in his across the board numbers. This will be a result of fewer minutes, better teammates, but also adjustment in his game as he gets use to playing without Bullock but more importantly Payton. 3 Years and a 150+ games of playing together is a lot of chemistry to undo. Knicks also played at a much higher pace, since Randle likes to slow the game down, it will take some time. The hope is that come playoffs when the pace does slow,Randle will have enough in the tank and players around him to dominate like he did in the regular season last year. I can't believe how good they looked last night. That was a beat down. That was without both our rim protectors. We have 3 point shooters and shot creators all over the court. There are very few teams that can match the Knicks man for man. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but the Knicks looked like a 50 win team easy last night. We have a core that is continued and a coach that prepares his guys early. Thibs is not “Experimenting” kind of guy. Last night he plyed to win. Was Carlisle? Can’t say what he was looking at. Thibs did not rest anyone or hold back. No minutes for Knox to “see what he got”. I did buy some Knick Tickets for december. Been a while since I have seen a game at MSG. Saw a Rangers game in the chase bridge. Very unique. |

IQ looks like he is making faster decisions and is going downhill more and doing everything at a faster speed. Obi just looks more confident. I also like what Duarte was doing, he looks like he belongs. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

![]() Fun way to start this season! Obi looked way more fluid and comfortable out there and RJ too with his handle and pulling up from the midrange. Having a dynamic lead guard like Kemba is such a change from what we've had starting the last few years too!
It's super early and no need to overreact but teams are just not gonna be able to crowd Randle like the Hawks did in the playoffs. We got way more weapons and guys who can shoot it. |

Lots to be optimistic about last night. Gonna go put a few thou on the Knicks to win it all! Only question is will Thibs be playing Randle, Kemba, Rose et al 35 plus minutes a night as the preseason wears on? And maybe that's a good thing! |

The additions of Fornier and Kemba will have our team functioning better overall due to the new spacing. |

Thibs coached the game like it was a regular season game, Carlisle might not of coached to win. The offense was very encouraging. ![]() Carlisle looks like a rational and unsmiling Jim Carrey. I keep hoping he unleashes a "Well All righty then" the next time he loses a coaches challenge.
