Im a frank Homer so Im not going to make shyt up. But, I really don't have an issue with sitting him either way. Dennis doe not "deserve" the minutes but he a 21 year old with a contract thru next year and I have no issue with him getting minutes if it the thought process is to get him back on track.
Is it to "Showcase" him? Seems kind of silly given he is rusty and if was rehabbing not in great shape. If to show case he is healthy? Maybe. I would not expect to see much given how little he played this year.

Part of me is "take your ass whooping like a man. At the same time I get Elf was mad and did his punk move. He should have thrown the ball at him and yelled then go chest chest, but he did what he did. Elf does need to be aware and take care of the ball ALWAYS!!
That said, nothing about last night bothered me except im envious Memphis is rebuilding faster than us. Good win-win trade Rapts and Grizz made last year.

Don't be too envious. Memphis's rebuild only picked up steam after they fired Fix. Things can only go up, right?

It's just basic thoughtfulness, awareness and consideration- if you want to insult someone, insult THEM, not a whole gender of people that have nothing to do with it. If avoiding a word and using another one helps to avoid contributing towards the systematic dehumanization of a group of people, which would lead to physical and verbal abuse and decreased life chances, then that's absolutely a good thing.

I'm referring the Morris. He clearly wanted to use the B word there but thought he was being PC by saying "feminine tendencies". We all knew what he was saying. Doesn't make what he said any better.

And I disagree that calling someone a B insults a whole gender. It's a specific insult that means different things based on gender of the insulter and the insultee. That's not the same thing.

I'm sure Mike has millions of annual reasons not to be too bothered.

LOL!! How true!!!
Their coach is an interesting story.

Jenkins comes to Memphis after serving last season as an assistant coach under Mike Budenholzer with the Milwaukee Bucks, who posted the best record in the NBA during the regular season (60-22) while leading the league in points per game (118.1). The Bucks also topped the NBA in defensive rating (104.9) and ranked fourth in offensive rating (113.5) during the regular season before advancing to Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the 2000-01 season.

Before joining the Bucks, Jenkins spent five seasons (2013-18) under Budenholzer as an assistant coach with the Atlanta Hawks, helping coach the team to four postseason appearances, including a trip to the 2015 Eastern Conference Finals. He was an assistant coach for the 2015 NBA Eastern Conference All-Star Team.

Previously, Jenkins served as the head coach of the Austin Toros (now Spurs), the San Antonio Spurs’ NBA G League affiliate, during the 2012-13 season and guided the team to the 2013 NBA G League Semifinals. Before he was named head coach, Jenkins served four seasons (2008-12) as an assistant coach with the Toros, including the club’s 2011-12 championship season and playoff appearances in 2009 and 2010. Before joining the Toros, Jenkins interned with the Spurs basketball operations department during the 2007-08 season.

Jenkins attended The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics while concentrating in Management and minoring in Psychology. He and his wife, Chantall, have three sons and one daughter.

He fell in love coaching an inner city team in Philly as his senior project in college. Never played college ball!!! Crazy

This just shows he’s stupid in addition to being a punk

Also glad they turned the water off. Ja apparently Thought that was a coincidence

This team is so dysfunctional now from the top down. Maybe this will galvanize things

I heard about the sell the team chant. One can only hope

He straight up said the Knicks talk trash and don’t play hard. It’s more of an indictment on the Knicks than him. We just fired Fizdale for the same $hit they are doing now.

I would trade this entire team except Barrett and Mitch and fire Mills and Perry. It’s sickening how we, yet again, need a fresh start. At least we have our picks and relatively okay contracts.

I know he said that, and it was a lame thing to say. I don't agree that we don't play hard (now). We played bad. Everyone talks trash

He definitely should know better and would have been better served if he just said My Bad. Stupid punk

not an indictment on Knicks. You don't do that crap for multiple reasons. One is sportsmanship (and Grizzlies would expect the same courtesy if the script was flipped); two, you're damn sure the knicks are going to play that clip before they play next as motivation.

Weird stat last night. Ja Morant was +42!! We need someone like that

Yeah, Jae clearly violated an unwritten rule. The game is over, you put the ball down. Personally, I have no problem with what Elfrid did. Now the other stuff....calling a Crowder feminine....No made a mistake. Jae does have certain tendencies but there is no need to call him out for it and put attention on an entire gender because Jae is lame. No apologized and I get where he was coming from, but he got to be smarter than that.

I agree. I think Morris wanted to call him a b###h without getting fined and made matters worse with the comment he made. With the money he's making, just say it and pay the fine.

I also have no problem with what Payton did. You play hard until the other team concedes. At that point the Knicks gave up and relaxed. What Crowder did is how players get hurt (i.e. Beverley injuring Westbrook's knee) more than what Payton did. And Crowder fronting like it's about playing hard for the whole game. Guarantee you there's video of him doing the opposite in a similar situation. What Crowder did is what we used to call fake hustle.

The truth is Crowder got caught up in the moment. Before the steal, they hit a three and the player held up his follow through all the way down the court on defense. Crowder saw an opportunity to pile on some more and didn't have the professionalism to resist. He's suppose to be the veteran on that team. I'm glad Payton did what he did.

Shaq, Charles, and Kenny all said they agreed with Payton's hard foul there. Paul Pierce did as well.

Nice, I agree too.

It was a hard foul
