Another one of Fizdale's questionable coaching moves. Why the **** would you start a SF as a SG. It's like you are trying to set him up to fail. He already has issues guarding players in his position now you are asking him to guard smaller and quicker players?

Subpar coaching. Is it too late to bring in a new coaching staff, or if Fiz is tired, will the Knicks have to rely on one of the assistants?

Heres our cast: Keith Smart, Kaleb Canales, Jud Buechler, Pat Sullivan, Royal Ivey, Mike Miller

I do think that there is subpar coaching going on. No idea why there is also not the same notion that the players are playing like **** too.

Chicken and egg. I gotta guess that the coaching staff has harped on Mitch not to do the stupid fouls. He seemed to get the message at the end of last season. What happened? Is that on coaching staff or Mitch?

Do we think that the coaching staff is NOT telling Randle to dibble into a double and triple team? Or do the spin maneuver that is almost a guaranteed TO?

Morris usually plays the full first quarter and I was happy to see Fiz take him out early when he missed an assignment or 2 about halfway in to the quarter.

It's good that Knox gets the quick hook right? He misses waaaayyyy too much on D. Simple stuff too

I think everything that you mentioned is all about coaching.

Mitch elevating his overall play last season was due to DeAndre Jordan. That is good coaching. We don't have that now. Taj who is great doesn't play the same way and it seems Mitch is not taking to him

Randle is easy to fix. Bench his ass if he keeps doing it. He will fall in line really fast.

Morris I am ok with.

Knox is getting the right coaching. Why can't they do the same with Randle?

I like the idea of benching Randle, but for who? Portis? Portis makes MORE mistakes than Randle, so you would need to bench then Portis for Randle? Or are you suggesting bench Randle, move Morris to the PF and bring in Knox who is already being benched for poor play. Who?

You can go a couple of different ways. I wouldn't for Portis. Portis job right now is perfect. Instant offense on the 4 or 5 spot against 2nd stringers.

I would try Knox first and move Morris to the 4 spot. Knox kills me with his defense though and he would have a short leash to make sure he understands he needs to do better on defense.

We can also try Dotson or Trier at the 2 guard. Then move RJ to the 3 spot and Morris to the 4 spot. Trier would also get a short leash if he doesn't move the ball.

I would keep DSJr backing up Frank. He needs time to get his game up to speed. Breen said it in the telecast last night. DSJr was drafted in the lottery because he was an attacking PG. He needs to get back to that. However, Fizdale and his stupid offense stops him from doing this. I hate that ****ing 3 man weave hand off at the top of the key going east and west ****.

The player that I was hoping to see is Reggie Bullock. If he ever gets healthy, plugging him in the 3 spot and moving Morris to the 4 spot would do wonders. He is a 3 and D type player in the Ariza mold.

The Knicks whole roster needs to be on a short leash and it becomes hard to play guys who are already on a short leash.

I mean, I get the idea of putting Randle on a short leash but you are subbing him out for worse/less productive players. Take Randle out and put Knox in.... or Trier? Those 2 guys already riding the bench because of short leashes.

Having RJ out with injury, and the Nets top 2 scorers out with injury, wasn't this the game to see how well Frank & Dotson click together as tandem-guards in a lineup?
Its been two season of Fizdale's million lineup changes, and not once has Fizdale gave the two 3rd season guards Frank & Dotson the chance to get on the same-page by being in the same-lineup to run the offense as back-court guards. WHY?
Putting Knox in the starter lineup were asking for the Injury-Nets to take a 15 pt lead the first 5 minute of the game.
The Knicks front office has to have plans on being the first team to start trading players this season, and Dotson has to be one of the players they have plans on trading !!!

I don't know what they are thinking. Seems RJ at 19 is gonna be a beast and a natural 3. Knox natural position might be at the 2. Its not what I think that matters, but he is one of our better shooters and knicks intent might be to go big and bigger in the future.

As for tearing it down, Seems when Fiz does it players come back stronger. Or they don't come back.

Nets have 7 players that were on last year’s team. Trying to figure out how Breen came up with ten new players.

That's what sets you apart from Mills ... Accountability. You've also been slacking off on the Rebecca pics...maybe throw in a few Natasha ones while she's still here.
