Barnes has apparently been offered a max by Dallas. (Maybe that's why no sign-n-trade with OKC? I'm surprised OKC isn't getting _something_ back.)

Bogut has to be traded (and, ahem, he's dropped GS icons from his twitter feed) but presumably he's worth something so I'd guess he'll be traded for a cheap promising rookie and a large contract that someone wants to dump.

Ezeli . . . hmmmm, it's too bad GS can't keep Ezeli but I'd guess he's gone.

Shaun Livingston? Gone? He's a solid player, somewhat underpaid . . . not sure what's going to happen with Livingston.

Iggy? Maybe they trade Iggy to keep Livingston?

Whew, phone in GS gotta be ringing.

Iggy, Bogey and Barnes

What if the rest of the nba refuses to to take any of the players ... And make Durant change his mind if he won't take the 16 mil they have

If I were the Knicks I would at least offer KOQ and some second round picks for Livingston right now.

sell out? The dude wants to win so i have no issue. As a knick fan i would have loved him here but there was no chance in hell he would win here

His chances in NY would've still been high, just not astronomical. I don't like it for his legacy. Joining a Finals team does nothing for him IMO. IF they don't win 70+ games and win it all its a historic fail.

The Warriors didn't get better defensively either. They couldn't stop Lebron and Kyrie and that is still a problem. They have to hope KD is the scoring difference.

Barnes is almost gone already, he hasa max offer. My bad I thought Bogut had an offer as well. But he will get one for sure. Who in their right would refuse to trade for Iggy? If the league had a LeBron stopper then he is it.

He's 32. I just don't see him being worth giving up the farm for, especially when we already have 32yr old Melo at that spot. I'd rather have Noah and Lee and DRose than Iggy.

I suspect that the Warriors will find a way to keep Iggy. Clearing Barnes and Bogut alone should give them room.

This is crazy -

OKC went from having:

Harden, Ibaka, Durant, Westbrook

to:

Ibaka, Durant, Westbrook

to:

Durant, Westbrook

to:

Westbrook

I agree. Iggy was the star to complement Stat if Stat's career wasn't done after 2/3 of a season in 10-11.

I'm unsympathetic to the argument(s)that (some have made here but also everywhere else) that KD loses if GS doesn't go undefeated and KD doesn't have MVP stats next year. Seems to me, like Iggy before him, KD _wants_ to play on a smart, unselfish, team. I think a large part of the attraction to GS is playing with Curry, Green, Thompson, and (maybe) Iggy. I think those guys, as a group, but especially Curry, are highly motivated, super smart, team oriented adults who are _fun_ to play with and who care about their team. Yeah, sure, nearly all successful players in the NBA are aware that individual stats and topdogness isn't all there is to life but few teams have such a concentration of team-thinking as GS. Maybe SAS at times. Maybe the old Bulls. Maybe Atlanta and Memphis at times over the last couple of years. GS fits KD's personality and his style of ball, his thinking about basketball and life. I'm sure he wants to win and win again but I'm equally convinced that, as long as GS plays great ball, that KD will be happy as first dog, second dog, third dog, or whatevers. I'd guess that playing with GS gives KD (or so KD believes) his best shot at playing the game he wants to play. Playing with, say, Rose on the Knicks, or being top dog in Boston, or staying in OKC would have meant that KD had to adapt in ways that he is uncomfortable with to win . . . GS allows KD to be KD. Certainly some will judge him harshly but I'd guess, based on his comments in interviews, that he's looking to win and enjoy playing ball his style of ball with Curry and if his stats drop a little and Green still runs the team, he's okay with that.
