So why did the Knicks look so good running the Triangle before MELO tweaked his ankle? They hadn't really gone to the heavy PnR back then but they were playing at a higher level. I don't think it's the offense. The players just lost their groove and have to get it back.

It's the players. They're missing all their shots and aren't playing defense. Same as it was with Fisher.

This team needs the break so they can recharge and get in the gym and practice.


I agree they need the break but i think they absolutely should of come out playing as hard as they can on defense and we didn't see that and that pisses me off cause if you have a team that only plays hard when they're down by 10 or 15 points then that's not the players i want on my team.

I want to know this: who was responsible for Grant playing so many minutes under Fisher (?)

Was it Fisher . . . or Jackson (?)

Because he's not playing now.

This season is all about planning for next now. There is no chance this team makes the play offs. Unless its Walton I see no reason not to bring the new coach in immediately because of those things and to get a head start with the players viewed as being intregal.

kp can shoot over anyone. if he starts taking more time with his shot he will raise his shooting percentage and be able to draw more fouls.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

That's like the exact opposite of what they've said they're doing. They're playing to make the playoffs. And they'll figure out the coach after the season.

One things for sure when we run the Tri all game long or all half long it looks better as the game wears on. Much better shots for us and the Tri looks smoother already.

On the other side transition D and 3 point shooting from Wizards have made it a huge scoring night for them.

Hey, we've gotten the Wizards down to a 126 point pace for the game...defensive improvement from the first quarter.

That's part of the reason Jackson wasn't complimenting him in the interview. He wants to see less standing around at the perimeter, harder screen setting, more closer shots from mid-range, post ups etc.
