You sound foolish given the guys we're missing. It's not the system. It's who we have left to run it.

no reason that our system allows koq to take long range 2's or lou to drive baseline or to ever allow sasha to shoot.

Well it's what we run. Just gotta execute at a higher level.

just gotta execute....tonight? with these players? they were running no triangle for the most part in the first...
then in the 2nd you started seeing it more...and the lead ballooned from 6 to 12

You're sounding ignorant cause the triangle is the system that Fisher runs no matter who's playing in the games. Just cause these guys look lost and because of that some of the plays don't look like they're running it but they are. Well they're trying to anyway.

...and failing miserably. so chalk this one up as a loss when the jump ball happened?

Yeah these guys are looking lost without any of their leaders out there. This is really bad.

glad to know we are in agreement. but you are wrong if you think fisher has given DWill the green light

fisher wants Dwil to attack

DWill attacks 90% of the time in transition.
Grant does not know the meaning of the word transition.
If you think that DWill is simply not listening to what Fisher is telling him, you are wrong.

not tonight

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Good coach adjust to his roster, not the roster adjusting to the coach, run some simple sht these players are comfortable running, see how that works..

BINGO!!!

Hahahaha why are you saying Bingo?? Am i in the twilight zone here. You're saying that the coach is telling one of the best offensive guys we have right now to not do what he does best and drive to the basket.....You need to put the drink or the bong down my friend. lol

BINGO!!!

They do know the offense! It does matter WHO is taking the shots or making the decisions! If you don't have anyone scary on offense the defense just plays straight up!!!! That means fewer lanes to attack. LOTS of teams run PnR offense and have lost more games than the Knicks. That's not the end all be all. Missing our best players has more to do with it than PnR.

I didn't know that you spoke with Fisher. What else did he have to say?? You did talk to him right?? Did he tell him to stand around with the ball like he's doing?? Do tell??

you are the one that posted "Oh my goodness you're kidding right?? He gets the ball like he just did and he stands there with it and looks around looking lost. I'm sure Fisher wants him to take it to the basket any chance he gets since that's his only game he has."

sounds to me like you were in the huddle, please tell me what else did he have to say? Did he tell him to ignore every word of his and stand around? Do tell!

Holy crap....i'm going off of common sense and saying that Fisher is telling DW to do what he does best and you're saying that Fisher isn't letting him do what he does best. Hahahaha What the hellz are you talking about?? LOL

going off of common sense...yes, that's why we are down by double digits inspite of opportunities to keep it close...because the coach is displaying a lot of common sense, and so are you.

Wow i'm done. You win this one off of just plain stupidity.

I was thinking exactly this. They've played fugly but are within reach. Early in the game I was encouraged that they were shooting well.

I don't count them out
