Melo can't buy a hoop tonight. If he even has a mildly respectable performance, New York wins this one. However, he's something like four for 20 so no chance.

Not a good sign if he's got dead legs in the preseason.

Glad to see Calderon and KP had decent games. DWill and Early looked pretty good too. Not thrilled at all about Afflalo's hammy acting up, but at least O'Quinn's injury was just temporary. Hoping Melo's cold spell ends tonight, regardless of how Clyde feels about it hahaaaa. Next stop, regular season! 0-0!

A few games ago, I think it was the Wizards game, Breen mentioned Melo's obvious hot streak with his shooting. And Clyde said he didn't like it, that he didn't want to see it this early. I understand what he meant, but it still made me scratch my head. Why would you EVER prefer to see your star scorer experiencing a cold hand. Especially at the start of the season. He HAS to understand that it's crucial for this team to start the season very competitive, win or lose.

The Afflalo injury is a bad sign for him (and the team) moving toward opening day.

Movement on offense was inconsistent..not as many open looks as you would like. Some guys also had shots which they did not take.

The energy we had against this team the last time seemed to be missing.


Player excitement over what the Mets are doing must be draining the Knicks of energy.

Shooter's superstition...don't use up those good shots when the games don't count.

Tend to think that Clyde is just fooling around with us on this.
