Isola is a HACK! He's lying in his article when he says the Knicks said it was all about the system and not the players. They never said that and in fact where quite clear that the Triangle was not the cure all. It is a good thing to have a system. Still more important to have players.

Isola is just taking shots cuz the Knicks diss him and his paper. He has a biased take and lacks credibility. I hope the Knicks get the top pick and ball out this summer then see what he writes.

The former McDonald's All-American averaged 7.2 points on 35.9% shooting (35.7% from three), 2.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.4 steals and a redonkulous 2.6 turnovers in his first 10 days. He's helping the team from beyond the arc and hurting them in almost every other way imaginable:

He's shooting 71.4% from within three feet (nice!), but 36.0% overall on two-pointers (not nice!).
He never passes the ball, yet turns it over constantly.
The Knicks are allowing 125.4 points per 100 possessions with him on the court.
He's surly as hell and starts beefs with the likes of DeAndre Jordan.

While there's nothing wrong with giving Ledo all the minutes for the remainder of the season, it's looking less and less likely that the Knicks have discovered the potential steal described by Mark Cuban. Ledo has talent, but he hasn't shown nearly enough to hold out much hope.

“Rick the Quick’’ is coming back. Ricky Ledo was signed to a second 10-day contract as Phil Jackson wants to take more of a look.
Ledo, the 6-foot-7 shooting guard formerly of the Mavericks, averaged 7.2 points and 2.2 rebounds over 18.5 minutes in five games. He’s played 92 minutes — already doubling the 44-minute total he had in two seasons with the Mavericks. Ledo’s seven-turnover night Wednesday against the Clippers didn’t cost him. One scout said he’s terrific at getting to the basket but needs to finish better in traffic. Fisher said he’s most concerned with Ledo’s defense.
“I’ve definitely taken advantage and did the best I could do,’’ Ledo said. “The last three games have been real NBA games for me for the first time ever. I’m trying to build on that. The nerves are out and I’m getting more comfortable with the offense.”

I also want to see what he'll look like after a summer of real training on his skills and conditioning at an NBA level. I hope he gets with some of the other guys on the team and works out this summer.
