Not a fan of Hairston but a pretty big fan of Ennis. I also think that everyone's underrating Kyle Anderson from UCLA. That dude's going to be good and I'm hoping that if we get a mid to late 1st from either a Melo, Tyson, or Shumpert trade that he's the target.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

For Bulls

Pick

16

19

49

BUY a pick

Either

Tyler Ennis *reminds me of a 2.0 version of Kendall Marshall but higher IQ, facilitating/passing, and leadership
Elfrid Payton
Napier

Adrieyne Payne or TJ Warren

The above for picks 16 and 19 in this DEEP DRAFT in the mid rounds on CHEAP CONTRACTS to add to their already strong core or Rebounding/DEFENSE
Chicago always have been CHEAP and moves like this would probably be the most COST EFFICIENT and ALLOWS possible future deals to open up as well
Amnestying Boozer in my opinion would be quite expensive and unless it is Lebron James, it just isn't worth it, while Boozer is still a very good player for the regular season, wonder if GS would be interested in David Lee for Boozer swap with the Chandler rumors

pick 49 and buy a pick

DeAndre Kane
Burton
Jordan Backnaski
Dwight Powell

select 2/4 above

and have FULL 5 MLE+

to Target Ariza or Gasol

Even if Derrick Rose is hurt, they would still be contenders
Even after the draft, they get easily trade for ALL STAR level type of talents in Kevin Love, Carmelo Anthony, and even Lebron James *if he forces his way out Heat and in Bulls or sign elsewhere as a UFA*
Lebron James is about WINNING and DEFENSE, though the Jordan comparisons will be EVEN MORE SCRUTINIZED

Wow, Sad news about Isaiah Austin (pf/c Baylor). His basketball career j is over just days before the draft because he has been diagnose with Marfan syndrome. The kid had been previously playing despite being blind in one eye and know this.

Well, at least it was discovered now but prayers out to the kid.

Not high on Ennis. hes not very big not very quick not very fast doesnt shoot that well. What is the one skill that seperates him from the pack? He's a developmental prospect that doesn't stand out in any overall skill ---I hope that's a smoke screen.

Just heard that. Not sure what Marfan Syndrome is. Is it related to his vision problems?

Sucks. It puts things in perspective and I'm glad it was finally caught.

Ennis is a decent a the athletes with a solid wingspan. He ain't John Wall, but he's good at changing pace and he knows how to use a pick. He'll be a solid pro PG.

I think you can get a PG like Ennis from the D league. Id rather two big skilled players. Im not in love with any PGs after Exum and Smart. Id rate Clarkson next best PG.

I like most of the PG prospects listed in the first and early part of the second rounds. I'm starting to sour on Smart and Exum as PGs. I see them more as ball dominant SGs in the dwyane Wade mold. I don't think you'll find many Ennis types in the d-league. The kid has good head for the position, considering he's coming off his freshman year. He's not Westbrook, but the dude is solid NBA athlete. He kinda reminds of Johnny Dawkins.

Id like to see the Knicks get two big players. I dont see a 6-2 180 pd PG who does not have elite speed athletsicm or skills to change much of this team. I think Nurkic can be a 20-10 player down the line and either Warren or Hairston can give me 20 points on the wing. Getting the big athlete is hard

I'm sold more on Cleanthony Early than I am Warren. Early can score from anywhere on the court, including the 3. Warren reminds me more of Jason Caffey. Hairston is solid, I'm just not excited about getting another two guard unless it's a plus level guy. As for Ennis, it's been a long time since we've had a PG with a head for the position. That can make up for his lack of explosiveness. Guys like Mike Bibby and Terry Porter weren't elite athletes, but they were smart enough to work around it.

Here my thoughts on the upcoming NBA draft prospects. Just a couple of rules:
- I have no idea where they will be drafted. I’m not into the “reading mind” games. A lot depends on the player’s skills, team’s needs and marketing to the fans.
- I don’t know much about Europeans and their basketball. I will only give reports on the players Ive seen play in games (at least a few games). Not youtube highlights (unless theyre full games)
- I have no idea how most of these players will do. A lot depends on their coaching, teammates, and intangibles like MOTIVATION and DRIVE
- Ill give strengths vs weaknesses, similar players and extra thoughts
- This draft will be a good one because there several players who could make an impact immediately, good depth and star players
- Lastly, these are all my thoughts based on observations not copied from somewhere else. These are not facts; just observations

POINT GUARDS

Dante Exum (saw a couple games recorded online)
-STRENGTHS – tall pass first PG/vision/one man fast break
-WEAKNESSES – shooting/skinny/played very weak competition in australia
-SIMILAR TO- Michael carter williams
-EXTRA-played weak competition but he has the ability and good genetics

Marcus Smart (Oklahoma St)
-STRENGTHS – a bulldog TANK with an NBA ready body/good finisher
-WEAKNESSES – shooting but improved/ more of a SG than PG
-SIMILAR TO- Kyle Lowry
-EXTRA-hes a scoring bulldog who could eventually learn how to run a team

Elfrid Payton (never watched. Looks like hes a decent athlete who cant shoot)

Zach Levine (UCLA)
-STRENGTHS – tremendous athlete/jumping jack
-WEAKNESSES – streaky shooting/is he a point guard?/never fit into a team
-SIMILAR TO- westbrook freakish ability
-EXTRA-hell either be GREAT or a total bust

Tyler Ennis (watched every game since im a Syracuse fan)
-STRENGTHS – PNRoll master/great vision/ calm/YOUNG
-WEAKNESSES – streaky shooting/tiny PG who will get destroyed on picks
-SIMILAR TO- Jeff Teague
-EXTRA-he needed to stay another year to get bigger/I don’t think hes ready physically

Shabazz Napier (UConn)
-STRENGTHS – Strong willed/can carry a team/LEADERSHIP
-WEAKNESSES – tiny on defense/ streaky shooting (improved)
-SIMILAR TO- kemba walker (not as good though)

-WEAKNESSES – bad shooter/skinny kid
-SIMILAR TO- Darren collision

Jahii Carson (Arizona St)
-STRENGTHS – tremendous athlete/jumping jack/dunks with ease/exciting player
-WEAKNESSES – soo small/ more of a SG than PG
-SIMILAR TO- Nate robinson
-EXTRA-he should get drafted (2nd rd) just based on his ability alone

Aaron Craft (Ohio St)
-STRENGTHS – excellent defender/tough/intangibles
-WEAKNESSES – not the fastest/not the best shooter/
-SIMILAR TO- kirk hinrich (younger version)
-EXTRA-its hard to count him out

SHOOTING GUARDS

Gary Harris (Michigan St)
-STRENGTHS – excellent shooter and defender/physical
-WEAKNESSES – very small/more like 6-2 not 6-5
-SIMILAR TO- Eric Gordon/Bradley beal
-EXTRA-I think he will be a star on the right team

Nik Stauskas (Michigan)
-STRENGTHS – best shooter in the draft/guts/offensive player/size

Jordan Adams (UCLA)
-STRENGTHS – excellent score/improved shooter/great finisher
-WEAKNESSES – lazy on defense at times
-SIMILAR TO- Bradley Beal
-EXTRA-If motivated (to play defense), he could be a nice 14ppg player

Russ Smith (Louisville)
-STRENGTHS – winner/TOUGH/quick/great defense
-WEAKNESSES – Streaky shooter/bad decision maker

-EXTRA- typical scoring SG in a PG body

SMALL FORWARDS

Andrew Wiggins (Kansas)
-STRENGTHS – freakish athlete/explosive 1st step
-WEAKNESSES – Streaky shooter/skinny
-SIMILAR TO- Derozan
-EXTRA- struggled in NCAA at times because of Kansas coach (smh)

Jabari Parker (Duke)
-STRENGTHS – size/scores at will/athletic at his size
-WEAKNESSES – lazy on defense at times (poor conditioning and concentration)
-SIMILAR TO- Glenn Robinson/Melo Anthony/Rudy gay
-EXTRA- best player in the draft in my opinion/future perennial 20ppg scorer

Doug McDermott (Creighton)

-WEAKNESSES – defense/quickness
-SIMILAR TO- Wally Szerbiak (spelling?)

-SIMILAR TO- Jalen Rose
-EXTRA- very underrated player on that Kentucky team

-STRENGTHS – good athlete/still learning/intense
-WEAKNESSES – ball handling/shot selection
-SIMILAR TO - Affalo
-EXTRA- hes going to shock many people; hes pretty good

Glenn Robinson III (Michigan)
-STRENGTHS – can do it ALL/leaper
-WEAKNESSES – streaky shooter/lack of intensity/coasts
-SIMILAR TO- Trevor Ariza
-EXTRA- very underrated player on that Kentucky team

Aaron Gordon
-STRENGTHS – great athlete/excellent defense

-SIMILAR TO- Michael Kidd Gilchrist
-EXTRA- very overrated/ will help defensively though

Kyle Anderson

-SIMILAR TO- Dejuan Blair
-EXTRA-TOUGH player off the bench

CENTERS

Joel Embiid
-STRENGTHS – excellent defense/great midrange jumper/advanced post moves
-WEAKNESSES – foul trouble (like all young big men)/injury prone
-SIMILAR TO- Serge Ibaka/Dream Olajawon
-EXTRA- unfortunate “break”; still worth a lottery draft pick though

Jordan Bachynski
-STRENGTHS – 7 footer
-WEAKNESSES – too slow
-SIMILAR TO- Cole Aldrich

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

They keep moving Nurkic up on mock now up to # 11 DX. The bottom line 6-11 280 pounds skilled quick nasty long arms and 19. Not many players like that.

Yeah, Nurkic is benefitting from Saric announcement and the fact that this a week draft for centers. I think the Nikola Pekovic comparison are correct for Nurkic, from what I've seen from his YouTube highlights. He's not a high-flyer, but he's tough and active. Fortunately, we still have our 2015 pick and there will be bevy of center prospects for us to choose from.

If im Cleveland I take wiggins. More upside and would be awesome next to Kyrie unless they are getting Lebron

If I'm Clevland I'd do the Orlando trade and then take Embiid/Vonleh at 4, Afflalo, and maybe grab Staukas at 12.
