Prime example of it being all about Melo the big kahuna. Shumpert has zero role as would any young player we draft as long as Melo is the big kahuna on the block

In terms of Amar'e and his efficiency he's been really good except for the injuries. It was asked by some on this forum if we would bring some of his trainers from PHX since they did so well or at least copy the same regimen and instead we did the opposite. MDA used him up and he eventually broke down. It's as if no one on the Knicks ever heard about the concerns PHX had or how they handled him. If anything the Knicks should've used Amar'e a little less and tried to preserve him, but as usual because MDA was looking to win after 2 years of losing, get into the playoffs as per Dolan's directive, there was no attention paid to this critical need.

Now it's Melo who has been driven into the ground. Gotta hope Phil can solve this problem once and for all.

you're nuts if you think d'antoni forced amare to run himself into the ground. amare felt compelled to go freelance for reasons known only to him, and perhaps a few people who could discern what was actually going on. does amare seem like a smart savvy player to you? how about melo? is he smart and savvy?

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Dice and Amare came to us as injured goods....your logic doesn't make any sense...

It seldom does, but it is often funny. And you'll notice guns does respect the need to reduce his carbon posting footprint on the UK.

Only in Knicksland can a guy have numbers like Melo, improve his game every year he's been here, drag sheehit teams to the playoffs 3 out of 4 years, deal with possibly the worst assortment of knuckleheads since the IT era, and fans can't wait to have him gone or want to pay him less than Linsanity...

Reg Season - doesn't matter.
Div champs - who cares.
Playoffs - ECF or nothing.
Franchise records - WGAF.
