Last season had the Krazy Eyes KT shining moment in of all places currently ironic, Utah. We will get a moment like that, and things will start to look up.
They have to, at 3-9, there's no other way to look.

Good point Jrod, we've only one way to go lol. I don't consider myself to be a bleary eyed optimist.
Its too soon to be calling the season, too much going on from injuries to the rotation. Poster should be more patient at this stage of the season and give them time to get the rotation worked out, and Tyson worked back into the lineup before calling the season.

Ahhh, it's okay, some posters really needed this start after last season. Just proves that Santa actually does read his mail.

Ah, more of the "I'm a better fan than you" posts.
Maybe you and Chuckbuck can just create one stickied thread for those kinds of comments.

wahh wahh wahh...And maybe you and Briggs and tkf could get a room? And guns could keep score?

Not better fans, just different, that's all.

Seriously Bonn, starting 8-1 didn't keep things slightly quieter last season? Homers were informed that they were living in a wet dream, if I recall correctly, complete with orgasmic gifs, remember?.

Now at 3-9, quite possibly 3-10, it's your turn, right?

Beat the livin blazins out of the blazers!

Just different? So there's nothing worse about the posters who "needed this start after last season"? You didn't mean that as an insult?
If you actually were praising people like me and TKF, then I apologize.

Saying something's different doesn't imply any better quality of fandom. I'm a Homer, you are not. That's being different. Some people get all yippy when we go 8-1 and some people get all yippy and validated when we go 3-9. See how that works?

I happen to think homerism is a better worldview than Somberism, or realism or whatever you want to call it; you don't. Coke and Pepsi.

If you take that as an insult, too bad.

hahaha.
I guess you're in fantasy land and are blind to reality. And that's just a difference, not an insult. I don't mean anything remotely negative by that comment.

Yes, I live in fool's gold world, where making the second round and winning the division actually mean something. As opposed to whining endlessly about efficiency and dumb owners and selfish players and three year old trades and failing ex-coaches and flash in the pans and...

Nothing personal though.

Yeah, in a fantasy land where winning a playoff series every three years is orgasmic and people who don't realize that are just lost

As opposed to reality, where 29-win seasons, 30 point blow out losses as a regular occurrence and years of drafting mediocre talent while hoarding cap space and more picks provides pee-hardons to those who just love and embrace the importance and reality of their inner NBA GM.

While those lost in fantasy land continue to realize they are just posting on an internet board about their actual favorite team.

Hmm, I must be confused because I don't ever remember that happening. Oh, and by the way, from Zach Lowe:

Nobody cares about divisions, anyway. Teams are sheepish about hanging division championship banners, and some choose not to do so.

Hmmm, yeah I'd rather raise a banner with total cap space we had available and how many draft picks we had...before we...gave it all away for MeloNoma...

Oh and by the way...Nobodies like ESPN and bleacherreport care...

Every NBA team hangs division championship banners except for the Lakers and Boston Celtics, winners of 23 NBA titles.

http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/9139285/blake-griffin-want-los-angeles-clippers-potential-division-title-banner-hunghttp://

http://espn.go.com/nba/preview2012/story/_/id/8517191/2012-13-nba-predictions-atlantic-division-champion

After combining all three of those factors, the result will be a Knicks team that's going to finish atop the Atlantic Division for the second year in a row.

Were going to win 29 this year and Melo will be Laker and the Garden will be holding a bag of manure.

29 wins with Melo. That right there might be the bag of manure if that is the case. Let him leave this team sucks all around it's not committed to winning a championship. If it's not about a championship then it really doesn't matter if he stays or goes an extra week of basketball is the Knicks goal and Dolans goal.

JROD will remind us how much progress we've made since the 2007-8 team that won only 23 games and how little we had to give up to get Melo. And how fortunate we are to have the best closer in the NBA.

Hey we have an excuse--Ty Chandler is hurt. Oh I forgot good players get hurt all the time and good teams still win. I am guilty for believing this could be a great team--but I dont like to throw good money after bad. I admit the mistake and realize that we are really in trouble. This could be a decade problem.

If you include preseason, it's close to that. Feels like there's no end in sight...
