that is a lame lame lame excuse. you use the regular season to create a team, not allow yourself to regress to old and losing habits.
Did Kidd take more shots or less as the season moved along? It's not lame when it's the truth. Prigs and Shump often refused to shoot the ball. There were clearly some issues on this team. If you can't understand how those things have an effect on the number of shots Melo took, then you aren't paying attention.
