I think so. Udirih > Prigioni.. Just sayin'.
Prigioni played very well. We couldn't let him go. Definitely getting Prigioni is better than a chance at getting Udirih. It sucks we've got so much money tied up on overpaid players and have such limited FA options though.
if we had let Prigs go, guys here guys would be up in arms. Prigs deserved to be a priority and we know he fits the roster while we have no idea how Udirih would mesh.
if he is a priority, then why are we chasing beno? why are we chasing bobby "don't mean to be cruel but I am going to china" Brown? why? what are we doing? if prigs was a priority, lets move on to the next need... honestly, not sure spending money on artest was a good move.. A nice feel good story, for a former NY star, but artest is not the same player.... and although we can also use his defense, i think our need was for a Dejuan blair, reggie evans type..
why do you think having Prigs as a priority and also pursuing a 3rd PG are mutually exclusive. Most all teams have PGs on their roster and why not go for the next best one. Knicks just ran a 3 PG set that worked very well. And if a guy goes down, you need that extra PG.
BTW, the Knicks did pursue and get Kmart, which is the same as DeJuan and Reggie types, still need 1 more. Artest is a very nice match next to Melo as he can swing to SF on offense and guard the best guy on other side in front court - West beat up on Melo.
Honestly, I thought they were grooming shump to run some PG duties.. How many teams really run 3 pg's?
3 average PG's? I have no problem with beno, as I think he is an upgrade over prigs, and we should have been patient and looking for a PG that could actually challenge felton to start, as I think felton is a better bench player than starter.... and i would give shump some minutes at point.. i mean, what are we doing with the kid?
As far as artest and kenyon martin.. honestly, do you see kenyon as the reggie evans type? really? I think kenyon has lost a lot.. he and artest are retreads...again, we are getting crumbs....
Artest is a very nice match next to Melo as he can swing to SF on offense and guard the best guy on other side in front court - West beat up on Melo.
martin why does everyone and every thing have to be a nice match for melo.. you know I have heard.. bargs is a great partner for melo.. Prigs is perfect for melo... chandler is perfect for melo.. No artest..
when are we going to start adding players, that are a good match for the KNICKS?
