JR and Bargs have nothing to do with Cope. If the Knicks wanted Prigs back the best they could do was split the mmle. My guess is if cope comes back it is for one year so the Knicks get his early bird rights and then can pay him more. Not sure if that happens but if it does my guess is cpoe's deal will be criticized for taking cap space in 2015.

I bring up those other plays because you can only do one thing at a time. I would have had continuous talks with Copeland before even saying hello to JR or Prigs. And if we kept Cope, we could have kept our draft picks and forgotten about Bargs.

Copeland is pretty one dimensional from what I recall. He can score. He is a bad defender and so so rebounder at best. He is not a good passer either. I have no clue why you are acting like Copeland is some multi-dimensional player. He is not.

JR is easily better than Cope. Andrea is more proven than Cope.

All of the criticisms you put of Cope are true of and even worse for Andrea. Andrea is a proven net negative on the court. I'd rather gamble on someone who has a better impact on the game.

Andrea has proven he could put up 20 ppg on bad teams at a 45% shooting when healthy. So, I will take the better one dimensional scorer that is younger and has more height. Also, I don't see what point you are trying to make. Trading for Barg's does not preclude or stop the NYK from signing Copeland.

They weren't going to get Barnes or Thompson for Iggy and they didn't want to do Iggy any favors of receiving the higher dollars and % leaving them for a rival team less offer.

Good for Kroenke if he can land Monta Ellis for cheaper, which is the current rumor.
