WHO!?!!?! BRIGGS...i trust youre judgement but where do you come up with these guys? i never heard of him
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Here's his profile from NBADraft.net:

NBA Comparison: Jimmy Butler
Strengths: Versatility and athleticism to play and defend either wing position ... Quick burst as a rebounder on both ends of the floor ... Very active at playing the passing lanes ... Improved shooting range substantially during his time at ASU ... Runs the floor really well, played heavy minutes and was constantly asked to defend the other teams best wing scorer ... Good at playing without the ball, scoring by slashing and movement ... Plays to his strengths, does not take many shots outside of his comfort zone ... Nose for the ball, was one of the better rebounding wings in college basketball ... Solid work ethic as he made great strides during his 3 years in the NCAA ... High release on his jump shot, solid shooting mechanics ... Gets really low in his stance on his defense, covers a lot of room, plus maintains similar low base in post situations to provide leverage ... Willing to get into physical situations and put his body on the line, definite hustle player

Weaknesses: Very rudimentary offensive game, does not create much for himself ... Usually sticks to shooting either inside or outside, not much of a midrange game ... Did not become a high level contributor until much later on, wonder how much ability he has to build on the player that he already is ... Strong, yet still slight, could have issues guarding larger wings ... Free throw percentage was low (66.4%) during his senior season, large drop off from his two previous getting to the line at a much lower rate ... Much more equipped to a transition and fast paced offense as opposed to half court setting ... Still needs to refine his finishing outside of the paint, developing a floater or step back ... Can be pressured into making mistakes ... Aggressive defense can lead to picking up fouls

Notes: Named All-Pac 12 1st Team All-Conference and All-Defensive during his senior year ... Had 13 double-doubles as a senior after having none over his first two seasons at Arizona St. ... Before ASU was at College of Southern Idaho, where he was a medical redshirt during his initial of two seasons ... Showed a great deal of improvement throughout his college career and really put his athletic tools to use while improving his skill set to turn into a nice looking role player option at the next level ... Seems to be slotted in the mid to late 2nd round area as a utility wing that could eventually turn into a disruptive defensive option ...

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

I don't get the Butler comparison. Coming out Jimmy was a good all handler and iso player if i recall. I know its not your comparison.

Yeah, Franklin at 15 is a reach but at least he's expected to go in the 1st round. Everywhere I've looked ranks Carrick around the 60th best prospect in the draft and several mocks have him going undrafted completely.

Im not saying Frankilin is a reach. Im saying that I think that Felix is a similar type of player that Franklin is and matches well for OKC. This is a guy who put up 14 double double from the 2G position plays tough tough D has an NBA open floor game. Hits the three ball He plays a certain role that fits OKC--I dont need a volume shooter here--look at their roster. Who cares what anyone ranks where. This is a deep draft and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Man, whats the problem? you knew the draft had started. You have a responsibility to keep the draft going. You held up the draft for almost 24 hrs. No one else had a problem. Don't sign up next time.

what's the point of having this game if you're going to rush it like this,

the finals aren't even over, draft is on the 27th,

this is a really ****ty game, thanks for nothing

i was going to put up a picture of iwg's draft room and everything, discuss different options for us at this pick,

i can't believe you autopicked me,

suggestion: start this game earlier next year and only do the first round or something,

because this is an abomination

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

It's not just mental superiority. Don't forget he squats 2000 pounds and drinks 4 gallons of milk a day!

With the 30th pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns select....

Tim Haraaway Jr. SG from Michigan

Suns are a mess. They have Dragic at the point and Gortat at the center spot. With Len forming a Twin Towers with Gortat, PHX needs a SG or SF. Tim Hardaway Jr. has fallen all the way to 30 and PHX is more than happy to catch this falling star. PHX will be ready to run and gun in the tough West Coast.

NBADraft.net profile

NBA Comparison: Wesley Person/Arron Afflalo
Strengths: Scorer with good size and athleticism for the 2-guard position ... Worked hard during offseason before junior year to improve upon and become a proficient 3 point shooter, knocking down 37% of his 3s on over 5 attempts per game ... Plays with good energy and intensity. A self starter, not a player that needs to be pushed to get the most out of his abilities ... An above average run jump athlete, excellent in transition. Finishes well on the break ... Professional approach ... Hard worker, competes hard ... Accepts his role within a team concept and plays unselfish ... Solid decision maker and passer at the 2 position, maintaining a positive a/to ratio throughout his college career ... Scoring numbers did not increase substantially, but his efficiency did ... Pro jumper. Shows great form on his shot. Gets a lot of lift and shoots the ball from a high release point ... Stays active and moves well off the ball. Does a good job of freeing himself and shooting off of screens ... Shows pick and roll ability as ball handler ... Benefits from being the son of a former pro, having grown up around the game shows excellent maturity and perspective of what it takes to be a pro which should help with the transition to the next level ...

Weaknesses: Doesn't have great foot speed or a quick first step which limits his ISO and driving ability ... Legitimate concerns about his ability to create his own shot ... Body lacks great strength. Appears a little frail, which allows him to be knocked off balance more easily ... Solid but not outstanding defender due to below average lateral speed ... Ankles appear tight ... There are some concerns about his legs and how they will hold up over time ... Lack of foot speed allows opponents to crowd him and limits his spot up efficiency ... Questions about whether he's a stong enough athlete to eventually become an NBA starter or if his ceiling is as a rotation guy ... Mid range game could use some improvement ... Did not have a very good tourney performance as his shot abandoned him to some degree and he failed to have a real break out performance ...

Outlook: Lacks the physical strength of Arron Afflalo but is similar in his nose for scoring and outside shooting ability as well as his projection as a bubble first rounder that could be undervalued by NBA teams due to perceived athletic shortcomings ... Considered a borderline first rounder by NBA scouts ...

Notes: Son of former Golden State Warrior great, point guard Tim Hardaway Sr. ... Showcased his explosiveness on a big stage with his highlight reel dunk on Gorgui Dieng in the national title game ...

Aran Smith 5/1/13

Strengths: Has ideal SG size at 6'6 and solid length 6'7 wingspan … A good athlete by NBA standards, and shows decent explosion at times … He is a capable ball handler with nice passing ability and is also a good decision maker when looking to set up others … Can score in a multitude of ways including slashing, pulling up from midrange and shooting from deep … Very good jumper with good elevation and form ... He’s a better shooter from deep then his % indicates … Especially promising midrange game … Defensively he’s solid with the potential to become standout if he puts in a more consistent effort ...

Weaknesses: Lacks a quality first step, limiting his ability to create shots off the dribble ... Really didn’t make the jump many expected in his sophomore season … Doesn’t shoot very well with his feet set yet has a large chunk of his shots coming off of spot ups … His shot selection is questionable at best which has led to his low FG% so far in his career … Needs to put forth the effort more often defensively and improve his overall awareness … While having nice size and length, he’s still very weak and could really benefit by adding 15-20 pounds of muscle … Lacks a great first step and doesn’t beat people off the dribble too often, he’s much more likely to try to use his skill and end up with a semi-contested midrange look ...

Overall: Hardaway is in a make or break season in 2013 ... If his shooting percentages continue to regress it’s hard seeing him going very high in the draft ... He needs to put on weight and improve his shot selection dramatically to show everyone what they expected last season ... He has the raw ability to be a good all-around SG at the next level, but fine-tuning is definitely needed for him to improve in his Jr. season to sneak into the first round ...

Notes: Measured 6'6 (in shoes) 193 lbs, with a 6'7 wingspan at the 2012 LeBron James Skills Academy ...

Sam Gallenberger 7/27/12
