Seems like the Knicks are getting happy as they can see the end of the regular season coming and they know the Playoffs are almost here. They know they've put themselves in a good position by closing out strong and if they can keep this mind frame all the way to the end they will be right where they wanted to be from the start of the season.

What can I say that has not already been said. Great game and Dolan get ready to dig a little deep in order to keep JR Smith.

nixluva - consider the word may not be "happy" as mush as "focused".

Carmelo is smiling much less and has the look of a man locked on a goal.

"On fire" is much too simplistic. The Knicks are not on fire. Like an experienced racehorse, our veterans can see the finish line. They are playing with a collective pride when it matters most.

The 27-14 close out of the Hawks on the second night of a back to back is a study in determination. Jason Kidd scored zero points, but led with 7 assists and 5 boards. Felton and Smith attack the rim with no fear. That is a small sample of how veterans make contributions to a team effort.

The collective defensive effort was dialed up and the Hawks were forced into 7 turnovers in the final quarter. We are playing with purpose.

Carmelo wears the blank facial expression of a businessman before he closes a major deal. Dispassionate. Focused on the prize. Little to no emotion. A professional.

Finish strong.

Earl rides a foldable bike! So maybe, just maybe, Mr. Smith goes to MSG and takes a page out of the John Stockton negotiation textbook.

TEN IN A ROW. I love life, I love typing that, can you tell?

Someone let Dwight Howard know that Melo's stolen his Superman cape.

Felton's also putting together a nice run lately. We've obviously been riding on Melo the past two, but Ray's been coming up with some big baskets at key points in the game. I'll gladly take the PG production.

We've got room for improvement over a 48 minute stretch, but the team defense late in the past two games has been terrific.

The Knicks are running HOT, and peaking at just the right time. Melo's taking it to the next level, and JR is having a career year.

ATL put up a fight, but we have too many guns. Looking forward to the NYK smackin' the Hawks again during the last game of the regular season.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Just caught up with the game- great win! Tyson doesn't look right at all- I really hope he can get healthy before the playoffs start.

I love the way Felton has played lately. I remember at the start of the season he was saying how Kidd was trying to teach him about having a second gear and pacing himself rather than going all out all the time. It seems like he's finally figured it out these past 10 or so games- he plays pretty much under control, and then starts making timely hoops when needed.
