i think as fans it's really easy to blame the coach so i keep trying to think of how someone with so much basketball experience playing at Indiana, etc and coaching with a guy like Larry Brown could not think of something to get his team to get into the paint.

woodson doesn't have the proper pgs to play his way all the time, he has solid pgs that are smart and savvy, but you need to have both.

yeah i mean i'm sure with Chris Paul instead of Amare our offense would look a-ok.

Cope was getting into the paint a bit to start. If the Pick n Roll ain't working in the 2nd half we may need him to do that even if it's just to cause the D to collapse and kick

He doesn't hurt the teams ball movement. He's out there to score and he tends to make good decisions as to when to shoot. If he was a bad shot taker his percentages wouldn't be so high. He scores at 70% at the rim. I'll take that over a wild shot from someone else.

He is an great iso scorer. Once the ball goes to him he scores it(like Melo).

You don't understand the difference between scoring within the offense and going ISO. Just cuz he scores a lot doesn't mean he's going ISO on every play. To go ISO is to stop all ball and player movement and hold the ball before going into your move. Not all of his points come that way. He's versatile and he tends to go quick or pass it. He scores off catch and shoot as well as drives or post ups. If you think he's a ball movement killing player you'd be wrong. JR kills more plays by over dribbling and going nowhere. Just do me a favor and check out the stats on Cope's shooting %.
