Tyson needs to have his best most impactful defensive game of the season. If we get Flu Tyson we won't stand a chance against their Lopez and the rest of their frontline defensively

I'm not as confident about this game as I was when it was first scheduled- our defense still looked dodgy in the Pistons game. They way Tyson has been playing lately, Brook Lopez is probably going to go on a tear. Deron is capable of exploding when motivated (see the Lin rematch last year).

Hope we can pull out a win- I hate that Nets team, and I don't want to give them any reason to go round talking trash about being New Yorks number 1 team. Plus, more importantly a loss to them means we're even in the standings.

Hope the Knicks come out ready to crush them.

Wallace is a very good player. Blocks, rebounds, plays d, and a lot of things that don't show up on the sheet. He will give Melo problems.

Portland got a good young PG for the pick Nets gave them but they got very good player in return in wallace and a trade exemption they used for sign Reggie Evans.

Knicks fans blasted nets for the trade considering they could have lost wallace for nothing but they didn't and Evans is good for the bench.

I agree the Nets need this not to "Prove" anything but they tie for 1st place with a win!!!

Knicks don't want to lose their place a top the division either!

I hope its a good game. Rivalries are born from games of importance and intense matchups.

I'd like to have had Amare also for this one but it is what it is.

I find myself saying "it is what it is" these days- unfortunately it seems we've picked it up from Melo, who seems to say it every interview. When Amar'e gets back we'll probably unintentionally start adding "phenomenal" to our daily vocabulary!

A week ago i was very confident for this game but now im a little worried with the way we have eben playing defensive. even yesterday we let a crappy detroit team put points up on us. We need to get back to the first 6 games and how tough we were on defense

Can't wait. I normally watch the Nets whenever the Knicks are not on but this year I have only seen two halves of Net basketball. The Nets seem to be coming into their own and are big at every position. I hope Woodson uses Kurt and Camby tonight. Evans is playing really well and is very physical. Kurt is needed for his solid play and intimidation. I think the Knicks need Camby's length against this team as well.
