I dont see anything out there to drastically improve the knicks unless we blow it up and waste another season trying to get players to learn to play together.

I had a feeling Terry would wind up in Boston. I really doubt dwill will pick dallas now when nj can offer $26mil more. Ray Allen will now go to Miami and we will be cemented in that 5th-8th seed range.

By my quick math, $5M MLE deal for JET would give BOS about $50M committed to 8 players. Possible to get Ray/Green/Bass/Vet Min for < $74M?

Knicks are screwed. Cue Dolan panicking and being pissed about Toronto trying to c0ckblock him and sending Shump to Phoenix in 5...4...3...2...

Teams have to overpay when signing RFA's. Lin is a better gamble than Fields.

Sam Amick (I think cnnsi writer) tweeted that Portland is about to reach a buyout with Shawne Williams. Do you want him back? He was a disaster last season when the nets tempted him away with more money, but he always seemed to like it here so might sign for the vet minimum. Could replace Fields as a back up SF (and can play PF too) if he can get his game back.

Evans is a perfect complimentary player on a team that has a big 3 of Howard, Williams, and Johnson. The Nyets are setting the table for Dwight. Evans and Wallace or two tough intangibles players.

If Brooklyn does add Howard, though, you are going to see a hell of a lot of hacking done on him and Evans.
