This is the most idiotic thing I have ever seen or heard. Who goes and injured himself outside of a game when the team needed him most right now.

According to sources, half of Amare's hand was falling off:

"Half of his hand was just hanging off. It was really bad. Blood was just squirting out. That's why they had the paramedics come in, because they thought he might have punctured an artery because of how much blood was coming out."

Dam, we joke about this, but the guy must really be hurting inside with non basketball issues, mainly his brother's death. Hope he can recover from this mentally and physically soon.

I can't tell you how annoyed I am at Amare, but I think Melo plays better without him. Its a shame he had to act so childishly, it really de-values his trade currency. I think we were all thinking about what we could get for Amare Stoudemire in an offseason trade. But, looking like a dumbass, and missing two sets of playoffs with injuries doesn't show value. Hope there is a clause in his contract that allows the Knicks to terminate him. Such a bonehead.
