What player since Tyson has had a more positive impact on the team? He should be DPOY and will likely lead the league in FG%
Changing the topic again? This is your MO Bonn and you should try it with someone else. Doesn't work with me.
How on earth could you think I changed the topic from what you wrote? Your comment is mind-boggling.
The topic is "best player since Ewing" not "most positive impact." And you know what the difference is between those two. This isn't debate club, its real life. You run a team with Chandler as the best player and you aren't winning as much as your team built around Melo.

Ya some people are oblivious to Tysons impact on this team. last Year we were the worst team on defense but this year he has made this team a much better defensive team.
If you reply to my post and say "some people" I am going to assume you are talking about me. What makes you think I am "oblivious" to Tyson's impact?
I can't believe the stuff I am reading today! People still reaching for ways to discredit Melo & Woodson

I assure you that the people you're criticizing cannot believe a lot of what they're reading either. Everyone here apparently either hates Melo and the entire organization or is more overprotective of Melo than they are of their own children.

I've was never a fan of the way Melo played the game and carried himself going all the way back to his rookie year. I would argue that he had a lot of Iverson in him as he shot 39% but overtime my feeling about Melo have changed. Under Woodson we are witnessing the real Carmelo Anthony, the one we traded half the team for. Not a borderline allstar but a legit top 10-12 player in the league.
I just call a spade a spade and refuse to let stubbornness and self pride cloud my mind and opinions.

Fair enough. Melo's playing great and I'm cautiously optimistic at this point (which makes me a hater).

Either you are having trouble following this thread or you are doing this on purpose. I was responding to loweyecue who said chandler was the best player since Ewing. I said he wasn't. You instead of talking about who the best player is start talking about who has the most impact? You do know that someone that plays 12 minutes can have the most impact by just being a great locker room presence right? They are not the same thing at all and you know that but you decide to make that the argument because you just like changing the argument.
You seem to think I have a problem with you personally. I don't. You should stop worrying about that and just stay on point. Talk basketball not statistics and stick to the point.

What makes you who you are is what you post. Your position night in and night out is that the Knicks should win your way and any other way of winning is hollow and unsustainable. You admit you dont watch games and yet try and talk as you are the authority because you can follow stats? Calling yourself a hater would mean you follow the game.
