After playing the worst half of basketball, this team is only down 6!!! They just need to keep up the pressure on the Mavs and run them into the ground with the 2nd unit.

Man some of us fans really need to get a grip on the bashing of the team!!! I swear it's like a bunch of school girls turning on the pretty girl, the way some of you switch up.

stat played great on dirk have to give him props. he looks like he is motivated for a change. I hope this isnt a one night only thing because if its isn't than im more optimistic about this month

Not a bad way to end the half, but if they come out in the 3rd with no energy, it will matter ishisht.

It's pretty embarrassing..I'm just waiting for the team to gel and Amare to come back to form so we can go back to old threads and start erasing them.

Berating the Knicks on a minute-by-minute basis is a game for the faint-hearted.

I'm with nixluva on the crying and whining over every error.

This roster is still getting acquainted, ergo the turnovers. Lin is in his first tour of the league as a starter.

D'Antoni is attempting to carve minutes for eleven guys. Eleven.

They will figure it out.

No reason for us to get off to such a slow start to a team that just played on the road last night. We have to hope the Mavs wear down in the second half and we carry the momentum with us into the 3rd Q and so on.

That's cool if you are ok with a sub .500 team grabbing the 8th seed and being eliminated in the first round, but myself and others have higher goals and will continue to discuss them whenever we feel like it.

You haven't been paying attention then. Go check and while your at it look at the main threads page and check out the JrZyHuStLa thread he just started while the game is still going.

I don't buy the hype anymore. We have the tools to be one of the best teams in the NBA for the first time in a decade. But if they don't try their hardest for the whole 48 minutes and stop with the same mistakes they always make, it will be even harder to stay close to .500.

Don't know about everyone else, but as one of the angry guys on this thread, I won't be happy until they work hard consistently. If they are beaten, I can understand. But sleepwalking through quarters only to make a comeback and fall short won't cut it and its been part of the script for the last few years.

They should stop talking about rings and focus on getting wins. Being over .500 would be a heck of a start. Hope they win this one. I want them to prove me they care. They certainly have the weapons to win, so get it! Actions and wins speak louder than talk and hype.
