No they suck and when baron comes we will wait for them to gel all the way until the season is over and when miss the playoffs and everyone will say they needed time to gel and it was a short season. Point is even with Baron we will still be a sub par team. We can't even beat lottery teams. But of course everyone's excuse will be that Baron needs time to gel with the team and it was a short season.

Judging from the Baron interview MSG aired doesn't look like he is going to be ready anytime soon

That is so true. We , right now cannot get any grade , other than incomplete. Our team needs better coaching than Miami, true. Can we make any definitive assumptions without BD when it comes to our future? No

I think people really have made him out to be a larger than life figure rather than a 32 year old injury-riddled point guard.

I mean, seriously. If this team is hedging its' hopes on Baron Davis then it isn't good enough to compete for the playoffs, let alone the championship.

Davis fell into the Knicks lap. There is no way that they could have planned that their savior would be amnestied, not claimed and then would sign with them. If he plays like he did when he was healthy the Knicks stole a star but counting on that to turn around the franchise doesn't seem that realistic. I am psyched the Knicks signed Davis but last year he had a cyst on his knee, back problems and he isn't always in shape. Like everyone that roots for the Knicks I want this to work but there are a lot of reasons to be concerned if he is supposed to be the savior.

After the 3rd game, I said that without Davis they looked like they would be a .450 team and many here thought I was just hating.

The first game of the year against the Celtics -- that was their best. It's been all down hill from there!

Every team in the league can play a good game from time to time. Doesn't mean there's necessarily anything to get together.

I just think expectations are really high for this team. Once we start winning things will settle down.

I personally dont care much about the regular season. I just want our team to get into the playoffs healthy. If we can do that we are contenders.
