While I think he still has game in him, can play the PnR probably better than anyone except in the near future of Iman, IF HES HEALTHY.
I wouldn't offer him a contract till hes ready to practice.
If he truly has intentions of coming, he will sit back, recover, and rehab then prove he is ready while getting in shape.
If he is just looking for another contract while he is already making good money and is hurt, I want no part of it.
We are limited on roster spots as is, we can't pray he will recover, and then contribute...the injury sounds serious to me, for anyone whoever had a herniated back/disc b4...
