That was one hell of a blowout. If they can only stay up for the bad teams like they do against the good teams....

I'm just glad they got the convincing win, not needing to be decided by a buzzer beater again...

GO KNICKS!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

When you can hit 20 3 pters, it would be insanely stupid to stop. Not saying they should shoot threes only on offense or when it's not falling. But you guys stereotype so much you cant even appreciate a good 3 pt streak when it does happen.

the problem is this team shoots that many 3's regardless if they're making them or not... no one wants us to stop shooting 3's when they're falling but when they're not shooting well from distance in games (& it's happened several times this year) i would like this team to be able to establish the PnR game & focus on getting stops rather than taking the lazy way out & shooting up 3 pointers from all over the court, banking the game on taking & making a high % of 3 pointers is a terrible strategy to win games... for tonight it worked & it was fun as hell to see TD tying the record i'm not unhappy we won but i've seen this team lose all too many games by going cold shooting the 3's this season & no adjustments being made to alter the offensive strategy.

TMS, I see a lot of teams pack the paint against us and daring us to shoot the 3. When you have two dominant post players on the team that is absolutely to be expected. It is also obvious that these guys haven't jelled enough to really execute the PnR well. We saw the same thing with the pre-trade team, it took multiple weeks before they could execute the PnR well. While that is still work in progress and teams are basically daring us to shoot from outside there really isn't a whole lot else we can do. You can let Melo play iso and that will be taking three steps back in my opinion, because the offense will grind to a halt. If we had decent 3pt shooters and could make opps respect our perimieter game, the Pnr would be sooo much easier. MDA coaches a balance between the two, but I think its wrong to suggest he needs to ask guys to stop taking wide open three pointers if they are not falling on a given night.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

So long as the ball movement is there and they take good shots. They shared the ball and were very active. Fields was trying to get involved and I had no problem with him looking for his offense. It helps to keep the defense honest.

nixluva, i'm not ignoring that fact i made it a point to address that i liked the defensive intensity they came out with to start the game other than Amare i thought everyone gave a good effort on the D last night... i still would like them to rely less on taking so many 3 pointers & establish more movement w/o the ball & get their PnR game working again... it is plainly obvious to me that when u get Amare involved early in the game offensively, that his defensive intensity picks up as well... we need him to be playing the way he was playing earlier in the season to be a more balanced team, the defense he brought really helped w/the resurgence during that 13-1 stretch of games... i am not woried about Carmelo's offense he can get his points from anywhere on the court at any time he doesn't need guys to get him involved he will get the ball & score the ball w/o needing many plays run for him, we shouldn't be looking to get him off to start the games, but let him finish them... IMO for this team to really be at its best we need for Amare to get back to playing w/that jump in his step... if guys are just launching up 3's left & right that just saps the energy right out of him he stops hustling up & down the floor.
