we need a helluva lot more than just a couple backup role players to fix this mess

It's Basketball..one player makes a BIG difference. Bringing in a Melo and a Rebounding Big and this team would have 10 more wins.

The Spurs are a great team but the Knicks needed this one. It might be time to change the philosophy and watch some film.

Amare lost balls, Felton missed all layups but 1(and took too many shots even if he was shooting good, he seemed disinterested in running the offense), Chandler crawled into a shell, like a crab. Toney had a very good game, much better then Raymond. Gallo tried, it was a pleasure to see him drive. Too bad he missed so many layups too. And last but not least PHUCK YOU REFS, TONITE WE COULD NOT OVERCOME YOU

We just didn't hit shots. Amare missed a ton down low. Galo and Wilson were non factors. These guys are role players. And heyre not even doing that well now.

after all the talk about exceeding expectations & this team turning the corner this year, we're now only 1 game over .500.

Losing a game like this is no shame if we didn't lose previous games to scrub teams. Refs didn't help but that's what you expect from the road I guess. Still Awful jobs by refs tonite. Still crazy how aggressive Amare drives to rim and doesn't get any calls but Duncan & Blair move in slow motion and get tons of calls. No respect.

Blair and Duncan are hard to handle especially for an undersized team like the Knicks. Aside from Turiaf and Amare, the Knicks have no one that comes close to having the body mass of Blair on the active roster. He is a house and just seems to get better. This game just shows how much the Knicks need another big body.

I actually thought the effort was there. The Knicks simply didn't hit shots. There were a TON of point blank misses that we usually convert. I didn't have a problem for the most part except for the doubling on Duncan. To me it's just not worth it with the Spurs ability to it open shots. At least send the help from the weakside instead of TD or Felton dropping off Parker or Ginobili. We just need for Denver to admit it's over and make a deal. If they wanna play hardball then they're just being stupid.

Denver has been stupid and in denial the whole time. No reason to change that now. . .

Amare 8-25, has to start moving the ball.. forcing the issue.. makes himself easy to guard..

Felton should not be a second option offensively..

gallo was solid, but has to work on finishing instead of selling the foul.. he is giving away points.. 16 points..

chandler: looks great when slashing, but his jumper has left him it seems... has to work on his boxing out as well..

fields: I love the guy, but as a SG , he is not giving us the offense... maybe he is better off the bench and we make a play for mayo?

Turiaf: played his heart out.. 10/10 boards

Williams: 2-3 from field, but doesn't defend.

TD: even when he plays well, he makes you scratch your head.. solid game tonight..

Knicks have to get back to ball movement! team defense! and pick and roll!

22-20

is it time to panic yet?

I fully expected there to be slumps over the course of 82 games. This doesn't mean they won't also go on a win streak again to get further over .500. This isn't a juggernaut team that we should expect to never hit a slump.
