It's not who starts but who finishes. Wilson was finishing not Moz. He e should want the minutes and the money.

Turiaf only has so many minutes on that knee and moz is no starter yet.

The idea of Wilson off the bench is a good one but it's not to be.

Wilson Chandler comes off the bench and defends and scores. Right now J Crawford does the same thing (well almost, forget about that defending thing) and became 6th man of the year. He doesn't seem like he's upset because he's not starting. He is, after all, Wilson Chandler, doing his job. Let's get rid of these petty biases. Mosgov started, than rode the bench. Let it be about team and contributing, and most of all, winning!

When Mello comes I doubt that Amear will have those 30 point games very much. Mello demands the ball. I bet everyones shooting and touches will go down..

I'm just curious. When you think his name while you're typing does it rhyme with "a smear"?

the Miami Heat seemed to have figured it out now & they are currently on a winning tear with both Lebron & D Wade putting up monster #'s every night... i think it would just take a short adjustment period for Melo & Amare to figure it out too, maybe even less when u consider they both play different roles on the court, whereas Lebron & Wade are both used to being the guy to set up the offense & dominating the ball on the perimeter.

Good point. Melo can probably provide almost the same impact that Lebron would , if only he got a bit better at passing. Lebrons best defensive form comes as a shot blocker, i think. Melo's defense is what concerns me the most(yea, I like Felton more than Nash because of his D). If Melo buys into our defensive scheme and goes after it(pretty sure that its not inconceivable), he'd make us a championship contender. He could get some steals and just put a bit more effort 1v1. Maybe even get a few blocks here and there. When Amare has the ball in the high post and is a triple threat - his passing is probably the least dangerous and the least used option. With Melo his passing will become incredibly dangerous, rendering him completely unstoppable. I can see it , if his shooting becomes the last option(right now passing it off is the last option)- forget about it. His shot is already very good. Our offense will become lights out, likely number one in the league.

the encouraging thing is that we've seen that Amare has taken charge of this team & won't let any of his teammates become complacent... him & Felton have demanded max effort out of everyone by their own example... if Melo were to end up here, i think he would come in with the understanding that this is Amare's team & that he'd have to follow suit w/giving max effort on a nightly basis too... i think the culture HAS been changed with DW's moves, & i don't think there would be any issues between him blending in w/the rest of the team... Melo's share of touches can easily be filled w/the 24 shot attempts per game that Wilson & Gallo are averaging right now combined w/o Amare's #'s suffering too much.
