It's OK to complain about the refs, but a loss is a loss is a loss. We have to play through bad calls and close oiut games like this, else we will NEVER get the Refs to change.

Terrible, Terrible loss. You cant lose at home to a 1-5 team. Our guards killed us down the stretch, Felton turnovers, Douglas with the mental lapse on defense and 2 rushed shots. Over the last few days people have been praising the Knicks for thier play, but its games like these (and there will be plenty of them) that its painfully obvious we need a go to scorer to close out these games when the offense breaks down. I wont say no names but we put this game in the bag if we had a closer.

Disappointing. We lost to one of the worst teams in the league. The Portland game wasn't as bad, because at least that was a good team. Getting utterly destroyed in the last 18 minutes of a game by one of the worst teams in the league is a disgrace.

this is about what i expect from the young knicks this season. some good games where we get up for quality opponents like the bulls and some let down losses against teams we should be spanking.

offense looked terrible down the stretch. some horrible shot selection and too much Amare getting the ball where he can't do anything with it.

dumb mistakes on defense. blech.

tough game against a pretty good bucks D next...

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Hence he case for Melo. Need a closer, but Amare let us down here, if he hadn't thrown that bad pass and missed the FTs we would be much closer at the end.

I hear you on that. We get a couple of feel good wins and then we start to wonder if Melo is necessary, ... but players like Toney Douglas can't be the hero every night, so we need someone who can, and who can take the heat off Amar'e. Amar'e is trying his best, but it's tough when he's getting passes in the wrong spot and he gets swarmed.

I hate this team. I really do, because everytime you find a good reason to be optimistic about them and be hopeful about the season, they throw a stinker to remind you you can never expect good from them. THIS WAS A GAME WE HAD TO WIN!! No other way around it. The Sixers have been down and they even lost a a good player for the game, yet we throw up a great chance with a pathetic game. It was a great chance to show the world and us fans they are for real, yet they remind us they are just a mediocre team with no discipline and drive.

At the end of the day, is wins and loses that make up who you are, and no matter hoiw hard they fight in every game, they are just another mediocre team of the bunch. Nothing special here. Sighs...

Meh, with Philly being 1-5, they played like they had their backs to the wall and it showed in how they shot 70% in the first. Just because we lost to a bad team does not mean that they didnt play us tough today...

A true team loss, with enough blame to go around for everyone.

Might have to go over what a pump fake is during practice. I've never seen so many fouls on pump fakes/lean-ins in my life.

Fields was +15 and Mosgov + 10 maybe they shouldve played a tad more??

We need another PG for depth--you could see that today maybe 1 guard 1 big

Douglas and Chandler both -19 for the game. They both killed us with taking bad threes. Combined 1 for 9.

disappointing loss. amare still hasn't asserted himself. offense was lost down the stretch, STAT needs to stand tall and be the go to guy. when the 6ers were pulling away it seemed like the offense was running thru turiaf, who is probably the least talented offensive guy on the team. stoudemire needs to step up when nobody can find their shot.

yeah I don't get that +/- thing Fields fouled Williams twice to send him to the line for 3 each time. so without those he's a plus 23?

you know what... as much as I am disappointed that Fields gave Williams 6 free FTs, he's a rook so I can deal with it if he corrects it over time, which I think he will.

But I wasn't happy with TD going under a screen late in the game to give Holiday a wide open 3 point shot at top of key.

I am not happy that Wilson will lead a fast break and make a bad decision with the ball even though he has Felton right next to him on the court and can give up the ball for a better ball handler and decision maker.

Not happy that Felton and TD will miss Amare on 3 straight PnRs and then try to force one in traffic with Turiaf. They either still dont trust Amare or dont trust themselves to make the pass.

Not happy that the guys came out with zero energy. Looks like half the team was out late last night.

I think its the point differential between your team and the opps during the time you are on the floor.

i thought this game was lost when toney douglas picked up his 5th foul and went to the bench. we lost all rhythm. and then when toney came back, he seemed afraid to be aggressive on defense.

the pick and roll timing with amar'e is horrible.

gallo disapears again.

and i'm worried about felton's back - he seemed less aggressive in the second half, particularly when he was forced to come in on short rest after toney's 5th foul.

bad loss, but hopefully it's a learning experience.
