Rondo had a career night and they still were in the game with less than a minute to go. We don't even have Randolph back. The talent is there, even without Melo. D'Antoni can't say he doesn't have enough talent to get to the next level. Time to earn his paycheck.

Man, what a game. Against a Celtic team that looks like they are in mid-season form already. I was thinking OT the whole time. I can see us beating the Celtics soon tho, as soon as we start jellin a bit more.

Right, blame coaching for lack of rebounding...

Much more of a traditional SF than Gallo (Yeah, I know he is playing SG now). Moves better without the ball, and has quicker feet. Also very aggressive going for rebounds.

I would keep Gallo out of the game tomorrow so the hand is not an issue in the future- stupid to let a lingering injury continue to be a factor by playing him when what the wrist needs is rest.

Fields is a gamer, though, and he continues to play the same way he has since he started playing for us in SL.

This loss was awful but it is great to have a guy that is as determined, mentally tough and intense as Amare. Boston was at home and lost last night. Amare was a beast at the end of the game and he didn't have easy match ups. Fields has just been incredibly impressive and Chandler off the bench was appears to be a brilliant move by D'Antoni. I am totally bummed about the loss but I was on the edge of my seat for the entire game when the Knicks played a marquee team for the first time in a long time.

Lol, I'm saying that D'Antoni has gotten a pass since he was hired because we had no talent, its pretty plain to see that we have enough talent to be competitive now and D'Antoni doesn't have that excuse anymore. I wasn't commenting on this game just my observation about how much more talented the Knicks are now.

What excuses? We just left it all out there against a top 3 team in the league.

I've never said anything remotely hateful about D'Antoni, just want to see him do some real coaching this year. Been a long time since we could say that about any Knicks coach.

Ay caramba, I would have made that statement if they won, I was talking about the season, what kind of job D'Antoni needs to do this year. My bad if it was taken as a criticism of this game. The first few sentences should have established that I was happy with their performance tonite.

Gallo has been disappointing big time. He is just not a skilled player as we have made him out to be. His finishing skills are terrible, he does some crazy shyt when going to the basket and throws the ball up wildly. What has been a concern to me is that Gallo is not a good road player his number drop dramatically on the road. Knicks need him badly to perform well he is as inconsistent as they come. I have a feeling the Knicks will be carrying him all season long. So much for his trade value that is pretty much finished. I kind of knew he was mentally weak but I didn't think he was a basket case.

Actually, you can blame a coach for lack of rebounding. You need to instill a gang rebound mentality.

As i was expecting :) here you go! Team is talented but they are not made to rebound.

On another note, Minn got 62 vs MILW 39 (rebounds). Minny looks descent so far this year but Kahn is wacked as far as Darko 2 points, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks and compare him to webber lol

I don't believe that. The one thing a coach can teach is rebounding. You box out your man and go get the ball. Not that hard. This is one thing I can blame MDA.
