I didnt want to be the first to mention it. Randolph needs to focus on finishing plays not starting them. Watching Randolph made me appreciate Gallo a little more because Gallo plays under control and doesn't try to do too much.

The only thing that concerned me is he seemed to beast during "garbage" time.

Randolph played very well. Its like saying you cant teach being 7 feet--well you cant teach being 6-11 and mobile with the ball with the ability to get into the lane like that. He can do a lot of things and as he hones those skills--will be even more viscous to contain. It seemed like he played 35 minutes in 19--mistakes yes--but the good outweighed the bad by a wide margin and there is just so much there. Were a lucky team--we have unique F's--now we need a great 5.

D'Antoni was yelling at Randolph for a reason. Making mistakes is one thing but forcing shots and dribbling and getting the ball taken away are going to have him getting pine time.

Randolph is going to be real good.

he forced one shot--I mean he made 7-11. He didnt yell on a pick and made a couple of poor decisions with the ball. Actually I thought it was embarrassing for MDA to yell at him like that--but MDA seems to need to do that to someone.

He still needs to pass the ball. We don't need Harrington II on this team.
