Great win. I just caught up to the end of the game on DVR. I have to catch up on some of the week games too.

maybe i'm wrong.

Harrington was not open. He wasn't even in shooting position. He was going to get into shooting position.

To answer your question, what Chandler was supposed to do was hold the ball and get fouled or dribble at the basket, not throw the ball at the shoulder of a guy who isn't even looking.

If you throw the ball to a guy who isn't looking, it is your error.

I'll defer to coach Bip but I was taught you're suppose to always be looking.

Please don't do that. He'll become insufferable if you do.

chandler and gallo get it done late.. gallo with the big block(two on the night) and two big threes.. he is really showing versatility with the midrange shot and drives to the hoop..

chandler, playing very well, not having to compete with harrington for shots. he and gallo combined for 47 points.. I love seeing our future get it done...

bender with 11 points off the bench..

I love watching Tony Douglas defend..

Lee with another double double...

good win overall... had to eek it out, but I will take it however I can get it...

I can't stand Brown but he seems to have his team playing some defense. They need a legit star like the Knicks. Those two teams are very similar.

Enjoyed the game, despite the moments when i swore out loud at some of the turnovers. But we held on well, and a win is a win. Better to screw up a few times and still win rather screw up a few times and then lose!

"Always looking" is a oversimplification. It only applies when you are "in the offense".

Here is another example: If you are boxing out for a rebound and Duhon throws the ball off your the back of your neck should you have been looking?

Maybe you should "always be looking" when you are in shooting position. But when you inbounds the ball 35 feet from the basket and you are heading to your spot, the only way you can be looking is if you are running sideways or backwards.

If Harrington was the PG maybe he should have been looking.

Dumb play by Chandler.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I actually thought the play was a pass back since Chandler had to go in the backcourt. The weird thing was that Harrington at first stare at him as Chandler was passing the ball and then just turn his back to walk away. Brain freeze by both. Actually it look like the whole team and the Bobcats had a brain fart that last minute. The funny thing was that Al almost had to throw in the backcourt to him again a few seconds later but finally called the timeout. Al shouldn't be the inbound passer.

If the knicks dont rebound better it will really start to haunt us. Tonight lee had 15 rebounds the rest of the team 19 and we got outrebounded by 10.

Oohah, how about it was both of their faults. Yes it is always the passers fault, as it was this time. However, Harrington doesnt get a pass. In a situation like that, everyone needs to be aware of whats going on. Al wasnt boxing out a man down low. He was simply walking and not doing anything. That is inexuseable.

The Knicks won though and pulled through. The game made me almost bald, but somw games do that. Not all wins are going to be pretty. Time to get revenge on Chicago.

Wow guys are comin out of the woods to post tonight. Good to hear from you guys. It's also good to see the Knicks win when they should, unlike the damn Jets...
Anyway, good game from the Rooster and Chan. Lee doin his thang. One thing about a shorter rotation is guys can really settle into a good chemistry on D. You all know what to expect and there's more trust. Good move by MDA to go shorter rotation.

Gallo missed 2 FTs last night, but what I liked more is the fact that everyone knew Bobcats were fouling but Gallo was looking for the ball and wants to take the pressure FTs. Gotta love this kid.

who was the guy saying Lee should be paid like $6mm a year? Year 5 and now he's making some defensive plays and he handles the ball like a point forward at times as well.

I swear if you would rather have Bosh for $17mm over Lee for $9mm or even $10mm your not watching basketball or you dont know what your seeing. The guy is a terrific player and just keeps getting better year after year. His ball handling and passing skills are impressive. He doesnt need the ball or a certain amount of shots. He just takes what the D gives him and makes bigtime plays and fills out the stat sheet. This guy has to be a part of our future
