D'Antoni, upset over Robinson's preparation, focus and general behavior, handed the backup guard his first DNP in nearly two years and made no promises that Robinson will be in the rotation tonight.

it doesn't matter to me one way or another...but this is basically some high school nonsense. nate can play basketball. he is the most talented guard on the team. but b/c d'antoni doesn't like his personaility, it looks like he's not playing. same thing happened with marbury last year. if that was the case, then there's no reason to bring the guy back. trading him would be next to impossible too.
Trade bait/filler.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

We would have to add someone because N8 is a BYC
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Not Nate's fault we have not won. We beat the Hawks because Duhon finally decided to impersonate a starting PG. If he can do that every game, we will start playing .500 ball.
That being said, Nate really needs to grow up and take the game more seriously. If he does that, he can have a long career.
Trust the Process

Did you ever watch Hoosiers
Ref: You need one more coach Coach: My team is on the floor
His team needed five players to win. But he stuck with the guys that were part of the "team". D'Anton is doing the same
I get your point but don't think Nate has done enough to warrant being taken out of the line up permanently. The straw that apparently broke the camels back was the shooting at the wrong basket. handled that correctly by benching him. The defense lapses go beyond Nate. This should be a non issue and Nate should be in the rotation. This seems too much like the way he dealt with Marbury and can lead to D'antoni boxing himself into a corner if a injury occurs.
Jesse, my guess is that there is more to it then what we know. We are fans that get our news from the media. Despite what we fans think about how much we know, typically we know less then 50% of what's going on.
Bip, I have to tip my cap and say good analysis of the situation. Based on what I am seeing in the papers today it is something that we as fans don't see.
