The Knicks lost but I think they played a good game overall.

KVH played hard
Eisley played tough D in the first half
Ward and Williams were penetrating
Anderson played well
Mutombo & Houston were both playing their game....

It was an exciting no quit basketball game....That's all I ask for.

Did you notice that KVH had 0 points in the 4th quarter when the game was decided? How many did Spree have? .....................12

What game did you watch ? If Frank plays 35 min instead of eisely, cassell with his no D playing self would have fouled out or been on the bench. Man the wolves only got rebounds and scored in the paint becuz Mutumbo was sat down too long by Chaney. Minny does not matchup well with the knicks at all if chaney plays the right guys. That's how we beat them in minny. Mutumbo was playing then.

Yeah...Spree had a great game. I loved how he looked at Dolan direction each time.

One thing I also enjoyed about the Wolves was their emotion and their "No free layup" challenge. That's the way the Knicks USED to play

On the other hand...I did like the way Anderson stood up to KG...and unless I'm mistaken...Sprewell also in the closing minutes (when Sprewell got the T)
But that just should you that not everything is/was fine in the Knicks locker room

It was an exciting game and NY played pretty well. You could say that they can compete with Minnesota, a team in the top 4 in the West. That means that they should be able to compete every night. Why don't they then? They need something to get them up. The staff itself does not do it.

Chaney must go. I have been saying it since Jan 2002. He must go as soon as possible. The man is a menace. NY needs a coach that will get some fire back into the team.

Don't get me wrong...I HATE Chaney....but the players did lose it this time around.

And maybe Williams didn't get 35 minutes because Eisley WAS playing well in the first half.....

I think he had like 6 points and 7 assists in the first two quarters...

we lost this game because there is no low post option. we played hard, we crashed the boards, but in the end we dont have a guy who can score in the post like KG. Sprewell and Cassell made plays all night because they have more space created by KG--although Cassell doesnt need much room. Cassell is the best mid range shooter in the NBA. I dont really see how the coaching couldve changed the outcome. The Knicks played hard and lost.

the next game will be much harder than this one because of the athletiscm and depth of memphis

You guys are blind in one eye and can't see out the other. If deke and frank is playing we beat minny again. That's not the players fault of not being on the court when minny hits shots and gets 2nd chance rebs. Sprewell hit some good out side shots, but if and when mutumbo was the game he would shut the door when spree tried to penetrate. The game was only good if you were a minny fan or sprewell fan, if you were a knicks fan you should be "HEATED"

We could have easily surrmounted a big lead if Frank and Mutumbo play early in 1st half. And diominated the paint and Frank keeping cassell on his toes trying to guard Frank. Frank was the one that put him in foul trouble and he only played 15 min

A good coach would've found a way. I really believe so. Honestly. I dont know how because I am not a good coach but teams win without a low-post option in the regular season.
