you know how kids rebel. he'll be a hater.

Nah i've got them THOROUGHLY brainwashed!!! One of my sons reads UK from time to time, but he's busy with school work. I've been trying to get him into it, but so far no real success yet. I'm glad to see that he loves the Knicks, Jets and Yanks tho

We'll be getting Gallo jerseys and we have this little ongoing joke where we imitate Gallo speaking in awful Italian accents. Being a dad is freakin awesome when they turnout to be good kids and have similar interests. My other son works in our family business, which is a Digital Recording Studio in Macon G.A. He does Graphics and Website design. We will be rooting hard for Gallo this year to have a good year.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Man I thank God everyday for what I have, cuz I know how special it is to have a happy family life. I didn't grow up with my Dad, but I made specially sure to spend LOTS of time with my kids and develop a close relationship. In fact I actually mentor a lot of young men here. I bring them into the studio to work as interns and teach them the ropes of real studio work and life lessons as well.

This video is breath taking to me. Look at the poise, The leadership, the fire, the defenses on the ball and help....hes 100%....I'm so excited for this kid. I hope everyone comes to play and excepts their roles. Whew baby.

Same here. I did not care for him as our draft pick, but I have to admit that he looks like he can play. If he is 100% healthy and can find a position that he can guard, whether that be at the 3 or the 4 spot, he should turn into a solid player with the potential to become a star. Our only problem right now is that all our best players are 3s and 4s (Harrington, Lee, Hill, Chandler, Gallo). MDA is going to have to figure out how to give these guys minutes.

MDA is gonna have to go with big lineups a lot! That's why Sun Yue intrigues me. I would be curious to how we'd play with Sun, Chan, Gallo, Lee and Darko or with Al in there etc. Not sure we'd ever see that but it would be interesting.

Still you could do it with Hughes at the 1 and Chan @ 2, Gallo @ 3 either Lee or Al then Darko.

D'Antoni talking like playoffs possible with Gallinari

September 25, 2009 ι By MARC BERMAN

Mike D'Antoni used the words "overachieve'' and "question marks'' several times in today's 40-minute meeting with the media.

But the more he talked, the more he sounded like he believed the Knicks have a shot to make the playoffs. D'Antoni's contention is based mostly on the belief Danilo Gallinari, coming off back surgery, will be around a whole season. The Knicks were 14-14 in Gallinari's 28 games last season.

"He's the best shooter I've ever seen,'' D'Antoni gushed today.

As far as having a shot to make the playoffs with a roster very similar to last season's 32-50, D'Antoni said, "We have a lot of question marks, but if two, three of those question marks work out, we can be good.''

David Lee and Nate Robinson officially signed their one-year contracts today that allows the Knicks the most cap flexibility in the league in 2010.

"We have the most room in the league,'' Donnie Walsh said. "That's good. We're No. 1.''

The Knicks, who open camp Monday, also signed to fill out their camp roster Ron Howard and Marcus Landry.

More in tomorrow's Post.

One ability I think Gallo will bring is that I think he is going to get to the line a lot of times. He has a great knack for drawing fouls
I just hope that people will like me

Yeah, I agree and he's a great FT shooter also.

Man, I'm getting really souped over Gallinari actually being healthy and playing. I can't wait for the first preseason game.

He achieves that with the illusion that he's stiff legged.

MDA loves guys that can not only shoot, but really play Basketball in all facets. You give him a group of guys that can think the game and make the right plays in an unselfish style and MDA is in heaven. He can make the most of a roster when he has mobile well rounded players. They don't have to be the absolute best in the game.

Gallo is an MDA player thru and thru. If the kid gets minutes he'll put up numbers and help us win games. I'm real anxious to see him in crunchtime this year. Gallo, Nate and Al are our top 3 big shot makers IMO. They aren't scared and they have the skills to get the job done. Our late game situation should improve this year with Gallo being in games at the end. Even as a broke back rookie Gallo showed his effectiveness at the end of games.
